Now I dare you to visit any website in the UK and put this ordinary DF Log Cabin of ours up against anyone else’s.

Now before we begin, I am not going to tell you what certain size timbers are used in our cabins our structural timbers, as I want you to do your homework and ask other companies, ask them also about how their windows and doors are made, also the thickness of the windows and doors, what material they use for their window and doors, and glass thickness, is it up to what standard etc. I am fed up with pushing this industry up the hill with new ideas and designs, we stopped designing last year as we have over 7000+ designs, most of which have been copied.

So back to what you ask the company you think is offering you a bargain, what thickness are their roof purlins as this shows the kind of KN value you can expect from your roof. They will not have this information at hand to tell you, and will tell you to call back, or talk you around this, they will then think your a difficult customer because you’re asking all the right questions, which to them are the wrong questions, and when and if you have further conversations with them, most of it is lies.

So please remember this, you pick a log cabin from any website,, and it looks amazing, and the price is low, low means its cheaply made, nothing else, it’s not a bargain, it’s not a steal, it’s not a fantastic day for you to celebrate, as you are just about to be conned into buying a package of crap, you look at what you have bought and put it up against ours and you think amazing, the same..but cheaper.. a cabin such as ours in look, but not in any other way the same as ours, their timbers will be thinner, their timber will be fast grown baltic pine, cheap and rots very quickly, and will need a lot of looking after , the windows and doors are rubbish, furnished with chinese handles, locks, keys and hinges and we all know rust, and breakages will happen sooner rather than later with these, purlins are 50% smaller in cut, strength, durability, and the cabin will be just a cheaply manufactured charlatan copy , a mass produced shed, as these can not be called cabins.

Log Cabins are not easy to design, and in this day and age, they are really hard things to manufacture as most of the components are hard to find, thats the quality parts, we only use quality, the cheap crap, is everywhere, most bulk mills will have containers and containers of rubbish handles and doors, and why are we not as cheap as these other mills, simple….

If you were looking for a cheap, off the self, OK cabin, where would you go, Tescos.

I might say yes and then have a customer start demanding, this equals returned deposit immediately. If you want the best then you play by our rules, which are exceptionally fair, if you don’t then go and buy the crap out there which is for sale! I do not care, my customers are important to me, if your not one of mine, then i am not loosing any sleep over if your cabin is safe, if everything is quality. if it gets to you on time, all bit and bobs with it, and making sure delivery is a pleasant exsperiance for you. And at no time allowing anyone to be rude to you. A zero free Drama way of getting a cabin, no middle men.And as more and more customers are coming direct, paying with a credit card and understanding its the best way to get the best of the best, and luckily i am speaking to people I like.

We are a British Company, we also have a British Merchant account, which you pay directly into with your visa or debit card. You are not paying into a foreign bank, which I would strictly suggest against doing, I won’t even do that. So with Factory Cabins you are getting it direct from us here in Lithuania, but the best part its paid into a UK bank.

Please remember it was us 21 years ago that put the first 40mm 5m x 5m super star log cabin onto the market, then we designed the clock house, then the twin skins and 28mm flooring and the mad thing we did was design over 7000 cabins. which means we have more designs made already than other company. Please look at our windows and doors and the other companies, and you will see ours are designed to last and the other companies are designed for bonfire night.
It really depends on how proud you are on what you manufacture.

Its on the Isle Man and it stood through many storms, why, we made it.

I want to make a statement now, see this amazing forest, well some of it ends up in your house, in many different forms, its the Russian well managed, well kept inner northern forest, and the UK does not have anything vaguely that looks even similar to this, and it never will do, because each and every government , cares only about money and zero about forests. And now you are upsetting the man that could stop your house building, gas, and everything else you need. So before you let the media completely brain wash you, look at this picture, think, this is there because President Putin cares about his forests, and then think, if a man loves nature so much, how can he be so bad?

President Lukashenko of Belarus, now this man has grown his forest into one of the best in the planet, and we are very dependant on him for timber.
Sadly though America want as always to upset the world, which they do daily and hourly.
