Log Cabins are not easy to design, and in this day and age, they are really hard things to manufacture as most of the components are hard to find, thats the quality parts, we only use quality, the cheap crap, is everywhere, most bulk mills will have containers and containers of rubbish handles and doors, and why are we not as cheap as these other mills, simple….

If you were looking for a cheap, off the self, OK cabin, where would you go, Tescos.

And thats the difference from us to them.

Take a look at the first 2 photos, you might think, they look ok, looks good quality, and the price OK… Well you are deluded or on a £4 budget, as these are the worst hinges and worst doors for a good quality log cabin which were ever manufactured. Awful….
Nothing even looks remotely hard wearing or robust……….

Now check these out, these are our standard doors and windows, and this is just the beginning on why we are picked time and time again , because our quality is second to none, there are companies out their now copying our look, but a copy handbag is a copy handbag!

Before we tell you, you tell us what size purlins the compnay your thinking of buying from offer in their price, these hold the roof up. Important.

Lastly yes, we are lucky to say we pick our customers, we get about 30 requests a week, we pick just 10 from these. I might say yes and then have a customer start demanding, this equals returned deposit immediately. If you want the best then you play by our rules, which are exceptionally fair, if you don’t then go and buy the crap out there which is for sale! I do not care, my customers are important to me, if your not one of mine, then i am not loosing any sleep over if your cabin is safe, if everything is quality. if it gets to you on time, all bit and bobs with it, and making sure delivery is a pleasant exsperiance for you. And at no time allowing anyone to be rude to you. A zero free Drama way of getting a cabin, no middle men.And as more and more customers are coming direct, paying with a credit card and understanding its the best way to get the best of the best, and luckily i am speaking to people I like.

We are a British Company, we also have a British Merchant account, which you pay directly into with your visa or debit card. You are not paying into a foreign bank, which I would strictly suggest against doing, I won’t even do that. So with Factory Cabins you are getting it direct from us here in Lithuania, but the best part its paid into a UK bank.

Please remember it was us 21 years ago that put the first 40mm 5m x 5m super star log cabin onto the market, then we designed the clock house, then the twin skins and 28mm flooring and the mad thing we did was design over 7000 cabins. which means we have more designs made already than other company. It means we know our stuff.

Please look at our windows and doors and the other companies, and you will see ours are designed to last and the other companies are designed for bonfire night.
It really depends on how proud you are on what you manufacture.

And Lastly if your buying rubbish, cheap mass produced crap like a £299 pound shed….. just think if the tree that had to be cut for that shed to be made , sawn up was worth all that effort.

What annoys me more than anything is that we put this company on the map, we helped him in so many different ways, we supplied him with the best buildings and also content for his website, yet, he decided to go to a cheaper mill, copy our building designs, and then after we have finished working with Skinners Sheds for almost 2 years, he still thinks its correct, to steal from our New Designs, and then adds them to his site, and then charges you a fortune, Log Cabins LV and also Factory Cabins has absolutely nothing to do with Skinners Sheds. Now or ever in the future. Ex works is here now to stay, and Greedy Piggy Dealers are gone!

So Skinner Sheds are charging a massive £4058 more…..in 44mm, than us for our cabin, they seem to be an awful clever crew, now let’s look how really greedy this company is, let’s look at their 70mm.

Our 70mm is £8700 ex works, Skinners Sheds is 14.000, thats a whooping £5300 difference…

Our Garden Office Twin Skin DF1509 11.0m x 4.5m with a 100mm gap for all the wires and insulation etc, comes with double glazing, double roof , double walls etc, and the cost, ready, this is a cabin with a wall thickness of 188mm, sturdy and amazing for winter or summer, rain and snow, the perfect, Office , price ex works from us, a crazy £10.644 ex works, it’s a mad price, and it’s actually £3356 cheaper than my DF 1509 11.0m x 4.5m office Skinners ” stole our image of” in 70mm. So if your thinking of going to Skinners Sheds to buy a copied LV design,log cabin, think , once, think twice think NAW,,,,, come to Factory Cabins. At least you know what your purchasing is original and made by the guys that designed it, not some bad copy!

Imagine, all the Lithuanian Manufacturers and Latvian, Polish and Estonian must pander to the needs of their dealerships, they are once again held captive to the Bully Boys of Europe, Well, we are not, we told our dealers, or 99.9% of them, the greedy ones to thats thats that, and not to put any more order in for our cabins, as you can see why, their pricing is disgusting, and their profit margin is from your pockets, our Ethos ,in the Baltics is not to Rip thy neighbor Off. But sadly that was told to our dealers numerous times, keep pricing low.

No one listened, so here we go, no dealers, more sales, and no one is moaning. We were using a UK company to help us at the beginning, but we realised that no one will settle for 10%, they want 50%-90%, the greed in the UK with in this industry is huge. Rampant.

Dear Mr and Mrs Public, decency and honesty has been lost in this trade for years, and there’s actually no Policing of this industry at all. NONE! That’s why, companies are allowed to sell like this Dunster House cabin a 5m x 4m in 28mm, Severn, with free flooring, what the hell is free flooring, ( cabins come with floors) when was having a floor “an optional thing”, they are not doing you a favour they are upping the price, “up selling”….but the Murphys have always been about making the most out of their low end mass produced cabins, by cutting down the quality and upping the price.

I have invoices to prove this by the way, we were the first to start them going, but we fell out as i would not cut quality, and they did not want to pay for childrens play houses,and as always dunster then said, take us to court, or take what we offer. That was their last truck, and their last truck of quality. Now they sell rubbish, they are actually the bottom of the ladder in quality, but when you add up all the extras they are super expensive,

DUNSTER HOUSE HOW CAN YOU EVER SELL A CABIN THAT IS 20 SQ METERS WITH A WALL BOARD 28MM THICK . 28 IS A FLOOR BOARD, 28 MM IS GREAT FOR FLOORING , BUT AS A INTEGRAL PART OF STRENGTH WHICH WE ALL KNOW HAS NO PROPERTIES AND IS NOT SUITABLE TO BUILD A CABIN FROM. PLEASE SHOW US THE PUBLIC DUNSTER HOUSE THE STRUCTURAL CALCULATIONS DONE ON THAT CABIN THAT A 5M X 4M IN 28MM UNGRADED TIMBER IS SUITABLE FOR ALL WIND, RAIN CONDITIONS IN THE UK THAT INCLUDES SCOTLAND, NORTHERN IRELAND AND ALL OF WALES ESPECIALLY NORTH WALES ETC.

I understand that log cabins do not have building regulations attached to them, if they are under 30 sq meters and meet permitted building regulations, for this under 2.5, and 4m etc.

But common sense must prevail, and in a case of a 5m x 4m cabin in 28mm, there is no common sense their! NONE……. It’s just greed!
