Its really nice to get from customers, Priest, or no Priest, a fantastic review and just praises from beginning to end, he did say a few of his neighbours had seen him assemble his and asked for help, ( Gods work is never done) i am laughing there, sorry could not help myself, and he said that the difference in logs, Window and Door quality from what we offer to the rest on the market is a huge difference. He said that most people sadly do not understand how bad most cabin windows and doors are, and the difference it makes, especially for keeping in the warm, and overall quality. Good quality means longevity, cheap means throw away!
Oh, then there is this amazing Pods we just did for a fantastic couple in the UK, as you can see its unlike any Pod, there are 3 of them, ever built, and the quality of this one and the others out shines any pods on the market.
Why are ours the best, simple , strength, and you can not mistake this for a disgusting caravan, that is sadly just a blight on the landscape, too many companies are copying our pods, but copies , always end up breaking quickly, we call it the PodBIn syndrome.
This pod is on a dead flat correct sized base, and put together by a professional man.
There are many copies of this, but if they do not come from Kevin Langham then sadly their pants. And yes the cladding is larch and always will be, and yes triple glazed, and yes massively insulated. Most can not get pine, never mind larch. Most can not get glulam, ours are full of it. Yes, totally 100% Beautiful,, Difficult to manufacturer as all done by hand.

Yo, Yo, welcome to todays Blog, sorry people, fans, readers, and haters, I have decided to take a month off and just wait till I had some amazing photos, stories and what ever else I decided was apt for this blog, got a lot of other ones, but as this is my favourite, and reaches about 25.000 a week, I must , gladly ,give it attention as well! OK if anyone knows me, I have had partners come and go, most ran. I am awful to work for, i work late hours and always want only the best, especially in the covid time, I was like, where are my workers, partners, helpers, learners, my phone would ring and their squeaky voices would almost say under their mummies bed hiding. that they have gone to the village. So gone… Next..
Then they would open their own company and if anyone has seen House on Netflix, then these are the kind of people i had around me, So I was shouting a lot, or going mad. One girl we had working for us, thankfully left 18 months ago, caused us so many problems, and did so many mistakes, I understand some of the bad reviews we got at that time, but the Virus caused problems for everyone, and those that had no nerve, balls, or just guts to ride out this virus, lost their way. You see the driving force of any company normally is the team, or the Boss, the boss pushes and teaches the team how to behave, how to look at certain problems, not be greedy, and never run after the money, just the work, also how to design and how to move forward, and sadly with out the boss, they normally try and steal ideas, and move forward. And always the customer ends up paying the price.
It took me so long to describe a residential log cabin that was a type of residential log cabin, to use the word type, would need a British educated Brain to understand that, not Lithuanian, “Type” but i see on some half finished awful website the same name type to describe the same products, obviously a complete and utter, moronic, no brains, lets copy another website text, why because i am dull , and that makes me laugh, as it proves that there is no fresh brain meat, or ideas left in this industry, its full of the same. I stopped designing because i though 7000 was enough, the tap tap tapping of my designers mouse and key board ever day, ringing in my ears, and even though I loved what we were creating together, I just saw, company after company copy my work, and resell the design with less enthusiastic and also materials, so the quality was and is on these certain buildings awful, like the Pods, Clock Houses, TwinSkins and so many ideas we, I had that were copied, and trashed. Its upsetting. But what I can say is, like most things this market has had its day, thats the cabin market, and I am so looking forward to whats coming next! Yesterday I was going through the web, just looking at what everyone else was doing, and what I saw was madness. Now, I know some of you understand whats what where cabins are concerned, but you all need to know more than you actually do if your going to spend £6000 pounds on a building that is manufactured with 34mm. So what did I find, I found once again Lithuanian companies, who have actually no regulations attached to their products, offer the British public a cabin that is not fit for purpose completely off the bat. Now you might ask why do I get bothered about this, the answer to that is, I don’t, because we have our own dedicated customers, and sellers, who know what is what, we also have taught them over many years what is allowed to manufactured with what and what is not allowed.
NOW…… Mr Newark who lives in Bexhill Road East Sussex, calls me up, and tell me that he has seen a huge cabin the price is excellent and the quality by the pictures are amazing, and can we match this cabin, so I ask him to show me what cabin, this happens on a daily basis, which honestly I get fed up with, but I listen carefully and follow his direction to the page, then I see this….
He then tells me this is exactly what he wants, he says its residential, and perfect for him and the family to chill out in on their land, but he just wants to make sure that he is getting the best of the best, and what do I think.
So I look through the specification, and what Hits me first is 34mm walls.
Then I see the price, and laugh, I laugh so hard and so long Mr Newark is asking me why I am laughing, I think he thinks I have lost the plot, I then say to him, do you see a gallery anywhere? do you see how their windows and doors look, actually are you aware of how thick a 34mm log is? I asked him to get a tape measure, and pull it out to 3.4 centimetres, I then said thats what keeps the cold out, moisture out, battles mother nature in all her glory and they want from you 34.166…. Really. Seriously
So if you add the pitch of the roof, your talking about ( around) 114 square meters of heavy roof, being held up with something as thick as a 3.4 centimetres. then you add covering and and.
Mr Newark, asked me if I thought it was I good buy, I asked him, seriously we he drive a car manufactured from cardboard? He went quiet, and I said save more, buy better, and 3.4 centimetres of timber to hold up this massive roof and support this size building for that price is a joke and a crime!
It’s because of these blogs we are lied about on trust pilot, but ask me if I care, NO! If you were to ever Believe trust Pilot, you would be a fool.
Hi all another busy week, and now that everyone wants to speak to us about our new and amazing, I must say Modular House-Office highly insulated galvanised buildings, which are fully insulated fitted out with tilt and turn double glazed aluminium windows and doors, and and and and, we are rushed off our feet with quotes, we have superb buildings at incredible pricing and to the trade, well its a great time to talk to us. We have looked at this space, and the most important part of it, is the quality of the insulation, the certification behind it, the thickness of the modular framing and the quality of build, then of course the pricing. If all these elements come together, well its happy days for the customer, us and any new companies that wish to join us on this new journey.
If you are thinking of buying a log cabin, timber building, camping pod, etc, direct from the manufacturer in any of these countries, be warned, the only way to pay is to a UK company, if the company you pick does not have a UK business account in their company name and merchant account to boot, and can not accept your deposits by card then sadly choose another company. Better to spend £100 more and be safe than £100 less and loose the lot.
I will tell you why, because if there were to be a War, you have absolutely no way of ever getting your money back, as the banks you paid would vanish, and so would your deposit, and in this period of time, £50 to some is a huge amount.
I know I am going to get a-lot of bad reviews on this, but its the truth, and as a Britt, and as the guy who started this whole Log Cabin affaire 22 years ago, way before everyone, to Britain, I feel its my duty to warn everyone, what could be in-front of us. If your a dealer and your mill ask you for a deposit, ask them now to pay by card. If they say no, then think about loosing the lot.
If Russia, and the “if” word is now a Massive IF leaning towards could happen word, if President Putin decides to take the corridor from Grodare District to Kaliningrad Калининград, then the Baltic’s are completely cut off, Germany has already pulled its troops from here LT, thinking it needs them at home, also Germany has started buying Gas and Oil from Russia again with the Ruble, so as you can see things change daily, and because of this, a UK bank is the safest place to put your money, and paying with a credit card, the safest way to do it. Also at home, if the mill goes bust that your dealer is using, then make sure you pay your dealer with a card, no cash. Stop using cash to pay for log cabins, BBQ Huts, Pods, Timber Frame Buildings, timber frame and Log Holiday Accommodation, Garden Offices etc, , etc, its too dangerous now to loose money, no matter how much.
Our prime ( Boris) minister has been giving billions away to Ukraine, and because of this the Brits are not thought of too well by the Russian population, as ever solider killed is blamed on us for supplying the bullets, shells and missiles, guns that killed them, ( I live here so I know what they are thinking and saying to each other) so if this was to become again Russian territory your claims for loss of money to a Russian court against a company here would fall completely on deaf uncaring ears. This is all a big IF, but are you willing to gamble £6000/£10.000/£40.000, on something you and I have no control over. This is why most companies are leaving here, or closing down and owners moving to Turkey, Spain etc.
This is why I say, pay into a British Company, with a card, and no problems. if the company is big enough it will have a UK account and Merchant account, if it does not….. Well! its your gamble……. We behave in the right way, and at no time is your money at risk.

For many years we have been designing buildings, be it a passive house, camping pod, log cabin, or Twinskin site office, we have just about done the lot, and as a Britt, I understand that quality is everything. For many years I took my personal designs, which went from 10 to over 7000, and designing houses, is not easy, also everyone of my cabins is unique to us. I then gave my orders to a manufacturer we had helped start up, when we met this mill it had no staff, no timber, no machines, zero, and we took it from a empty building to one of the best players in the market, that were ( I say were) extremely good, but sadly this company did not invest in its good fortune, which was my market share and its turnover and profit. We worked so incredibly hard, but what we realised being in the middle, was that the mill earned quite good money, and so did the dealer, the UK dealer earned more than us the designers and manufacturers combined. So I decided to sack all our dealers, one by one they were let go, a few were very very unhappy, trust pilot is full of there hidden agendas, but I do not care, I don’t, I do not need a greedy person selling my designs, then I changed mills, ( Thank god new owner is a liar and a creep) as I had asked this mill repeatedly to manufacture better windows and doors, (10 years of asking) and no I was not going to pay more, as the price for cabins from them was so high and monthly they were rising prices, 5%. 3%, 7% and, and they sadly started manufacturing their cabins from local logs, = Quick Grown Pine, ask a Britt to tell you the truth, as the Lithuanians will bend the truth about 1000km slightly to where they purchase their, lumber, logs, timber. 99.9% use quick grown pine, local, which sadly is good for burning or paper, and not very good for cabins.
Also manufacturing cheap windows and doors, they are masters, but to manufacture windows and doors, they are crap at it, seriously the whole market is crap at manufacturing windows and doors, I designed some with a small company out in the sticks, they were very good, but not perfect, they had 2 massive hinges, , and now I think our cabins are 100% the best of the best in the UK, you have to pay the price for the best, but it’s a life time cabin, not a 5 years wonder.
I hate to say this, but now is the time to only purchase a cabin from the Baltics with a Debit or Credit Card, and it must be through a UK Registered LTD company, Not Lithuanian company, or bank, as they are all sadly now going bust, and you will lose your money, there is too many uncertainties in this end of the world.
I was always told if the website is not finished and they have copied too much from British Sites, and they do not have an international bank account, i.e in the UK with a Merchant account attached to that, then steer wide, as you will lose your money. Merchant accounts means the bank trusts you, no merchant, no trust.
I am not being racist to the Lithuanians, not at all, I love this country , I have been here 22 years, but to trust an unknown company here, that you hardly know, and pass over money, complete MADNESS! And most can not take credit card payments.
OK.. who designed the Clock House? Yes me, and so many people have copied them, and not to a standard we would say wow, check this out. So check this one, it’s for sale for £5000, they say hardly used and blar blar blar.
OK, lets look at this cabin fairly and honestly, its been up years, it would be impossible to separate the logs with out breaking them, you would need to find the manufacturer of this cabin, I know, as its my design and I know every one who copied my designs, the windows and doors are pants, notice anything, something missing, yes thats right gutters, so the water has been running down the walls, this cabin is in very poor condition. The reason I mention this is that this Log cabin old version Clock House has shrunk( direct down) , so the boards that were 44mm x 115mm or what ever they were, are now 43mm x 111mm or what ever, but not what it was when it was bought new, it has shrunk, and to try and get a replacement log , impossible. Custom made, and custom price.

The Cost Of this is £8200 plus vat, Plus you pay into a UK bank, UK Compnay, and with a Credit / Debit Card.
Never pay in to a foreign Cash Bank Account, and in cash. Worst thing you could ever do. There is not one compnay here I would pay that way! NONE!
When a company has lots of dealers, it means £2000 goes to the dealer no mater what( thats your money) I sacked one dealer because he charged a customer £9.000, for just handling the cabin and delivery. And 90% of them go bust with in 3 to 5 years, owing the tax man 100’s of thousands. Or sadly ripping off the customers, or both.
To claim under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act, the item or service you bought must have cost over £100 and not more than £30,000.
You don’t have to have paid the full amount on your credit card – the card company is liable even if you made only part of the payment (a deposit, say) on your card.
It’s the value of the goods you’re buying that is key – not the amount paid on the card.
For example, if you ordered a new car from a car dealer and paid a £500 deposit with your credit card and the balance of £10,000 by cheque, you would be covered for the whole £10,500 if the dealer went out of business and you didn’t receive your car.
You have the same rights against your credit card company as you have against the retailer or trader.
So if your claim is for a repair then this is the claim you would put to your credit card provider – you wouldn’t be able to also ask for a refund, for instance, if you were actually claiming for a repair or a replacement item.
You won’t find this on other companies websites, because they just don’t care , they don’t want you to know your rights, you must always pay with a card, and to a UK LTD company, not sole trader, but LTD you will get your money back if you do not get your product. However saying that, you must be fair also, and negotiate, but thats for a limited time, like 3 minutes… lol……
In Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, it would be very hard, especially now we are out of the EU—UK—— of ever getting your money back, they like to receive but not return. They will make excuses, then block you. Not all, but I would say nearly all, they are like Trust pIlot full of crap! Recession brings out the worst in everyone.

OK, customers, and the ones you want and the ones you don’t, the ones that lie and waste time and the ones that just buy, pay, get the log cabin, pod, delivered and are happy. OK, lets start with Mr X, he asked me for 18 prices, 18, and each cabin progressively became more and more expensive, and like most people who are unsure of what they want they go for bigger and bigger, however, when they say the own a plane, and you think, they don’t tell you but in the back ground you can hear planes, your thinking, ok this massive 15m x 5.5m twinskin had better be heavy, so mother nature does not blow it away, so you twin skin it, make the roof heavy and just make sure the cabin is fit for purpose, not a a pile of crap,
As you can see , there is a lot of area for the wind to build up both sides, and if you know anything about buildings, this building, theoretically could blow over, or the roof could be completely ripped off , which is a-lot of weight and wood flying about in the wind remember everything is possible, and a twin skin version of this with out heavy roof, tie downs, metal rods going through the walls, in 44mm x 44mm, is about £25.000, with all the extras, and double roof and heavy glulam purlins and really getting this building near to build standards, close on £30.000, and it will not blow over, loose a roof, we have added toughened double glazed tilt and turn windows and doors, insulated the middle from the two sides, this building is simply the best , we know the and no one can touch the quality of the build, design or the pedigree .And if I designed it, it must be the best, I look for what can go wrong first, this eye to detail means my cabins last longer than anyones. I was told yesterday that our prices are very keen compared to the rest of the market. So Mr X I have planes took one look at the price was extremely rude, and said do not phone back. Now the only upsetting thing about this , is getting my boys who work extremely hard to price up so many buildings, waste of time and energy. And MrX now is left getting his building from the low end , budget end of the market! but he will still have to pay 20+ as he has no clue what costs what!
So please if you call us, do not waste our time, your time, tell us what you want, how much you have to spend and lets move on! Thanks.
Arrrrrrrrr last thing, when you see a cabin that has a base like this, run……. talk about BAD!!!! This is awful…. If I was the customer to this cabin I would have demanded my money back for both base and cabin.the base should always be the same size as the cabin walls, flush, there must not be a sill anywhere around the bottom, otherwise you get water ingress underneath the cabin equals rot. This was built by an idiot. Its called “ingamess” in most baltic companies, means i do not know what I am doing.
We have a copy of the site page this comes from, and what they are bragging to have done, at the moment its —-ing crap! If I were this compnay I would concentrate on what you know, not what you don’t. And sorry if you are the customers who bought this….

Our DF Log Cabins Range , why is it so very special, Arrr…. there are hundreds of reasons let’s look at one.
The Price and Quality out beats every other cabin on the market to date.
Now I dare you to visit any website in the UK and put this ordinary DF Log Cabin of ours up against anyone else’s.
Now before we begin, I am not going to tell you what certain size timbers are used in our cabins our structural timbers, as I want you to do your homework and ask other companies, ask them also about how their windows and doors are made, also the thickness of the windows and doors, what material they use for their window and doors, and glass thickness, is it up to what standard etc. I am fed up with pushing this industry up the hill with new ideas and designs, we stopped designing last year as we have over 7000+ designs, most of which have been copied.
So back to what you ask the company you think is offering you a bargain, what thickness are their roof purlins as this shows the kind of KN value you can expect from your roof. They will not have this information at hand to tell you, and will tell you to call back, or talk you around this, they will then think your a difficult customer because you’re asking all the right questions, which to them are the wrong questions, and when and if you have further conversations with them, most of it is lies.
We answer so many peoples questions, about how to look after a cabins, how to make bases, what to look for etc, but we have decided from the beginning of next week we will give just the basics. We are now picking our customers, as there are so many customers asking for our Range of High End Cabins.
Always Pay with a Credit Card
This industry is full of cowboys and thieves, and to be honest, 99.9% sell crap against what we manufacturer, and our prices are fair and honest. Actually our prices for the quality of the log cabin we offer and timber frame buildings are actually below the market value,
So please remember this, you pick a log cabin from any website,, and it looks amazing, and the price is low, low means its cheaply made, nothing else, it’s not a bargain, it’s not a steal, it’s not a fantastic day for you to celebrate, as you are just about to be conned into buying a package of crap, you look at what you have bought and put it up against ours and you think amazing, the same..but cheaper.. a cabin such as ours in look, but not in any other way the same as ours, their timbers will be thinner, their timber will be fast grown baltic pine, cheap and rots very quickly, and will need a lot of looking after , the windows and doors are rubbish, furnished with Chinese handles, locks, keys and hinges and we all know rust, and breakages will happen sooner rather than later with these, purlins are 50% smaller in cut, strength, durability, and the cabin will be just a cheaply manufactured charlatan copy , a mass produced shed, as these can not be called cabins.
Always pay with a credit card
These Log Cabin doors took us 8 months to design and manufacture, so they would last a minimum of 10 years. These are the best doors in the industry.
You know you get these days when you just want to shout and say, your design is crap, its going to fall down, and you have too many windows and its too thin, and you want it for nothing, and you want the best and you moan at the price and all the time, we, me, are thinking actually it was a we, as three of us all thought, fuck this design is dangerous and shit. But what can you say, you try and help, but all you get is the customer really not listening, and not believing because he has spent hours listening to wankers on the phone who know nothing about cabins, and boring the poor customer to suicide, and then when he actually lands on our pages and says why are you slightly more than the worst fucking company in Lithuania, I just sit back in shock and am mortified.
Log Cabins are not easy to design, and in this day and age, they are really hard things to manufacture as most of the components are hard to find, thats the quality parts, we only use quality, the cheap crap, is everywhere, most bulk mills will have containers and containers of rubbish handles and doors, and why are we not as cheap as these other mills, simple….

You want your Cabin to come with quality attached at every level and pay for it, you would go to Harrods. If you were looking for a cheap, off the self, OK cabin, where would you go, Tescos.
And thats the difference from us to them.

Take a look at the first 2 photos, you might think, they look ok, looks good quality, and the price OK… Well you are deluded or on a £4 budget, as these are the worst hinges and worst doors for a good quality log cabin which were ever manufactured. Awful…. Nothing even looks remotely hard wearing or robust……….
Now check these out, these are our standard doors and windows, and this is just the beginning on why we are picked time and time again , because our quality is second to none, there are companies out their now copying our look, but a copy handbag is a copy handbag!
All hardware German. All windows and doors Aluminium rain drip trays x 2 on windows. Windows fitted with a 5 point locking tilt and turn system. Doors also come with 5 point locking system.
Before we tell you, you tell us what size purlins the compnay your thinking of buying from offer in their price, these hold the roof up. Important.
Lastly yes, we are lucky to say we pick our customers, we get about 30 requests a week, we pick just 10 from these. I might say yes and then have a customer start demanding, this equals returned deposit immediately. If you want the best then you play by our rules, which are exceptionally fair, if you don’t then go and buy the crap out there which is for sale! I do not care, my customers are important to me, if your not one of mine, then i am not loosing any sleep over if your cabin is safe, if everything is quality. if it gets to you on time, all bit and bobs with it, and making sure delivery is a pleasant exsperiance for you. And at no time allowing anyone to be rude to you. A zero free Drama way of getting a cabin, no middle men.And as more and more customers are coming direct, paying with a credit card and understanding its the best way to get the best of the best, and luckily i am speaking to people I like.
We are a British Company, we also have a British Merchant account, which you pay directly into with your visa or debit card. You are not paying into a foreign bank, which I would strictly suggest against doing, I won’t even do that. So with Factory Cabins you are getting it direct from us here in Lithuania, but the best part its paid into a UK bank.
Please remember it was us 21 years ago that put the first 40mm 5m x 5m super star log cabin onto the market, then we designed the clock house, then the twin skins and 28mm flooring and the mad thing we did was design over 7000 cabins. which means we have more designs made already than other company. It means we know our stuff.
Please look at our windows and doors and the other companies, and you will see ours are designed to last and the other companies are designed for bonfire night. It really depends on how proud you are on what you manufacture.
Before you buy a cabin, please come to us and compare, get all there details and then get ours and we will beat them hands down for quality each and every time.
And Lastly if your buying rubbish, cheap mass produced crap like a £299 pound shed….. just think if the tree that had to be cut for that shed to be made , sawn up was worth all that effort.
Firstly thanks to our long term resellers in countries like Switzerland, who we have been offering our products to their loyal customers for more than 15 years, yesterday we sent 2 Pods and 2 extensions to a new campground that wanted the best.
Camping Pods are manufactured for the Public to enjoy new and exciting experiences so this means they must fall under many different criterias which means that they must be firstly ( safe) manufactured to certain levels of high quality, firstly the windows and doors must be manufactured with toughened glass, next, the roofing tiles must be made of rust proof material, but also act as an armadillo shell protecting the pod from mother nature.
Next the price, sadly the pricing has gone up a lot and I think if it goes up any further they will cease to be manufactured as they are on the limit of being not worth their price tag. I know most companies with make them cheaper by cutting out their guts, cheaper this and cheap that, but! that’s not what we do, ever, because if there were a fire , its a good change you would be in very serious problems.
if you do not manufacture your windows and doors from glulam timber, joinery timber, and you manufacturer them from normal log material, then the chance of them burning quickly is ten fold, that’s why all our windows and doors are manufactured using joinery timber. If you want to save money, then you would use solid timber. if you wanted to save money. then you would cut back on the thickness of the structure, and also cheap tiles, and thinner insulation. Basically cut the guts out.
FactoryCabins.co.uk does not do this, will never do this, ……..NO……..If a customer jumps on one of our resellers and asked them for a lower price and our reseller asks us, and of course they will say use cheaper this and cut that, and make this thinner and forget about the second hinge, use less mastic etc, in other words cut the quality out and sell the public rubbish… Not Us….
What we will not do, ever is what 99.9% of other companies will do. So the question is this, how do you tell, it’s easy ask them the glass thickness, is it toughened, where does the timber from, what moisture content is it, over 12% then they are quickening the drying process. which means the timber will twist. Also what’s very important, now i would say the worst timber to buy is Spruce, as it takes longer to dry, and the impregnation of it is harder, so its a win win for northern pine,and the mills will not want to use electric or gas, or off cuts to dry this spruce for 4 / 6 days, ( pine max 3/4 days) depending on the size of the kiln, about 100m3 which is normal. So questions now to ask when looking for a cabin, i know this started off talking about camping pods and finished on what to look for, I know doubt will get more awful disgusting reviews all over the place from companies in the industry, written by unhappy cabin company owners ( resellers) , or resellers of resellers, which is normal for me to get, not that I care, because if this blog helps you choose a cabin that will last more than 10 years, then we feel better.
I was asked to write a blog the other day telling everyone that 3 companies in one small part of Eire (Southern) had gone bust, owing many many many 1000’s of euros to their customers. Now it’s really easy to stop this from happening.
You can pay with your debit , credit card, that’s that. What you do then, if your willing to wait, is call your bank, tell them the company’s name and how much the deposit your paying, etc. The bank will give you advice if you need it. But they will tell you the best way to pay is with your card as you have insurance guarantees with each payment. The companies offering zero deposits are selling mass produced crap, which you normally can not bespoke, and sadly these companies play off your fear of getting Your deposit stolen, which is really , creating fear as a sales Technique, which I find is disgusting. Imagine this, some guy buys 10 of one size and 10 of another and and and. Then he says buy today delivery tomorrow, and he doubles his money and is gone in a heartbeat. That’s how most do it so beware.
Buying direct is always the best route of action, always. Our prices are better, we do not play games, we make the cabin, house, Pod on time, and more importantly you always pay us BY CREDIT-DEBIT CARD….
It’s like in every country we tell the public to pay our resellers by Debit-Credit Card, so once again please please pay by card, because if the guy/girl who your buying from possibly goes broke, then your not crying, making dramas for yourself and your sitting back , money back in your account, and your ordering it from another company! No tears no drama, if you just pay by Card!

Sadly there are as always more log cabin companies going bust and today we are speaking about Ireland, and its a bad day for the end customers, as we have been told there are as many as 3 just in Kilkenny. One in Particular owing many 1000’s and 1000’s. Now this would not be a problem in any way at all if the customer had paid by credit card, but they as always paid by cash, which is the dumbest thing you can do ever. I know this makes nothing better saying this, but I tell all my resellers to take deposits by credit cards, and the feed back I get is, that in Ireland especially the customers do not want to pay by credit card. Which is madness, OK here is how the cabin Industry Work, Simple.
The Reseller, Say Leon, calls us here at the factory and asks us if we would sell to his company our cabins, we then give him some of our designs, and they then start selling. Once they have sold a cabin, then its for the reseller, Leon to send us over the deposit for the cabin, once that is done, we then send over the plans, this is for him to take to the customer, and for them to say yes, he then signs the plans off, and then the cabin goes into production, we manufacture and you the customer would get it from the reseller in 7/8 weeks later. Once it is loaded on the truck, and we sign it off and the driver has acknowledged it is on the truck, its then stops being our property, and it is then the resellers. We do not pay for the trucking.
Now the trucking company will ship the cabin with out deposit, if they have done business with the Irish company previously and have-had a good relationship with said company. But If the cabin is put into storage, after say 2/3 months pass by and the reseller has not paid his bills, does not answer calls, emails etc, he will receive 3 emails from the shipping company, these emails demand payment with in ex days, they must pay for this cabin,, if they do not, then the shipping company is in its rights to sell the cabin and collect its money owed. I have heard of shipping companies selling the cabin just to retrieve their owed money! This is completely legal, and the problem is the only person that can take the cabin from the storage is a Judge or the Reseller ( we do not have address for customers of the resellers or any idea who owns what) , but even then its very difficult, as the cabin belongs to the shipper plus Reseller, and the dispute is between them, and not the customer who initially put the deposit down for the said cabin, and because the reseller will not tell the shipping company the owners name, they can not offer it to the customer who bought it off the Reseller. and by that time the person/persons do not believe anyone and call a lawyer, and if you contact the owner, they will only deal with the reseller even if you tell them the facts. Its madness, and we make it plain and simple once the cabin leaves the Factory its not our concern, unless something is wrong with the cabin, which there never is thankfully! These kind of problems only occur thankfully once every five-six years, and or when the economy starts to take a tumble, then people get desperate and do stupid things. None of our dealers ever started off just being untrustworthy! It happened because of a reason, and we are always the last to hear about it. But I think we are the only compnay , unlike all the others to have sacked 99.9% of our dealers in 2020 because of this problem, as we had experienced this in 2007/2008.
We believe we are the best of the best in this up and down industry because we do care, and we do help, but sadly we are only the manufacturer, if you buy from us, its all in our pocket, if you buy from a reseller, once its on the truck and signed for, the company you bought the cabin from is responsible.

Today I decided to write this to help those that want to listen, and believe in the one voice in the industry that really does tell the truth, regardless of sale or no sale. Many of you are going to be fooled by prices, and this will attract you more than the actual cabin, which is what you are looking for in the first place. There is no such thing as a cheap log cabin, what there is now is a web full up with cabins that have had their guts cut completely out of them. So where our roof purlins are 45mm x 225mm, others companies will use 45 mm x 110mm, At the beginning it’s not going to cause too much of a problem, but after a year and your roof will begins to sag and they have gone bankrupt, and left you with false promises of 10 year guarantees, etc, your going to feel sick.
( Put it into a short version, they are selling you the look and not the strength , quality or value )
In 2001, we started selling log cabins into the UK, ( the first) we had to convince the public they were better than cheap, sheds, which they are and always will be, sheds are sadly a waste of money and timber, remember the material most sheds are manufactured from is crap, but if that material was cut a bit thicker, you could manufacture a better building, which would cost only slightly more but last 10 years 15 years longer if treated correctly. Reading terms and conditions is always sensible when sealing with a company whose prices are cheaper than everyone else, as normally you pay and then that’s that! Anyway getting back to 2007/2008 many of the big shed companies started buying from us, cabins, and introducing them to their customer base, we had a happy 3 years, and then every man and his dog started manufacturing cabins and copying most of the designs I had personally done, including the twinskin system and the clock house, but no one was or is as good as us, they are mostly just in it for the money, and when a recession turns up, they go broke, and with that I am bankrupt message goes your deposit, which is why I always say, PAY WITH A CARD!
Sadly the Irish , both sides of the border are deaf to this message, I have no clue why as AIB, and British Banks do not care , sadly they are not in touch with their customer base, just what you owe, and what they lend, if you have money with either they charge you to look after it, it’s disgusting. Politics is never to be written, but I believe in honesty and justice, also I believe that if a man comes to your house, and take a deposit, and then goes bankrupt, his house, car, land whatever, should be grabbed by the government and sold to reimburse those that were stolen from.
Now in the UK that’s never going to happen, as half of the Millionaires-Billionaires, would be poor men, and the people would be heard, the laws were set to make those of power , more powerful, and the working man to know his place. And the tradesman who wants to climb up onto the cart of Millionaires must there for play the same game, which is sadly go bankrupt and keep your deposits. Which is what they do. And what happens to them, Zero.
I was watching the news and I saw that the Cargo, Boat Line, P&O ferries sacked 800 staff illegally, and brought in cheap foreign workers, so why don’t we sake P&O ferries from the UK and bring in another boat line that does not break the law, P&O really were not punished. As they put peoples lives at risk by their actions by recruiting a staff of untrained crew, who have no legal right to be in the UK or our waters. Yet the government is weak and sad and just forgets about the British dignity. So where is this leading, I am highlighting how it is now, how the UK looks at bankruptcy and it’s not the same as it was say 20 years ago. This has a lot to do with our laws, and how WOKE our parliament has become. We have stopped being men, and now we are only a slight shadow of what wer were and our grandfathers were. When there was a wrong we marched on Parliament, Remember the iraq war, WMD’s tony blair and his crew, who are all still sat in parliament, nothing changes regarding breaking the law on bankruptcy because they are all at it themselves.
Thats why I say, PAY BY CARD, then the thieving scoundrels, will be held to account, because the banks hate to lose and will take the merchant holder to court, and they will put them in prison, and they will put the Police on them, so PAY BY CARD.
I know I go on and on,but soon this world has changed, and man’s manners have got lost, greed and dishonesty live at every corner of most of the mouths of most traders in this market, and crap that is sold is just unworthy of the payment you make.

Floor boards 21 mm, floor joists 60/80 mm and roof beams with dimensions at least 80/160 mm. Floorboards minimum 28mm and Roof purlins always 45 mm x 220mm, floor joists are normally a bespoke size, depending on insulation wanted by customer. Our customer base is always bespoking.
Windows from glued timber (68 mm system), with double glass and rubber seals (Our Standard)
Tilt/turn hinges from a German manufacturer (Our Standard)
Double doors from laminated timber (cladded from both sides) (Our Standard)
NEW Tirolean joint (only 90 degrees corners are possible in this system) This type of log cut is not strong, it needs a metal rod of quite a large diameter and tightening monthly. Which means you need metal throughout the whole cabin through the walls, which is very costly.
We tried this with glulam Larch timber, which is far stiffer and 100X stronger than this timber shown, and it was a massive, costly mistake. It has zero in the way of strength. Plus if you notice the t&G is cut cheaply. Now you might ask yourself why i put this down,
There is a reason for this, its because this company wants you to waste your hard earned money on a New Product, it’s not new, the russians were making there barns in this style 100’s of years ago, then they went to the new way, why because Dovetail joints leak, they have actually no core strength. no I say this for buildings, and if you rod, and dowel and screw the logs together and you use this joint, fine, but the companies that sell this will not go to this length and that why its a con of a joint.

We can manufacture any kind of joint in the world, the machine we have is so sophisticated that it can make a cup from a 400mm x 400mm piece of Siberian Larch Glulam, or all the purlins for Lidl. Anyway I have completely forgotten what I was talking about, trust, credit cards, going bust, running off with your credit cards, distrusting people who write rubbish.
I have people on a daily basis thank me for this blog as it puts the true light into the business, so my lasting thoughts to you from me, on this Sunday night are these, 99.9% of all the companies have been bust at least once, they all cut down the safety features of their cabins, in other words, same cabins in looks only half of the timber is used to manufacturing it now. Windows and doors, may look like my new ones, but none of them are, and as the founding father of this log cabin industry in the UK an Ireland I would say very confidently that no one has given more thought of designs, higher standards of build quality, and has kept prices as low as we have and 99% of all companies selling cabins in the UK are not worth even half of what they’re advertised for. When we first started manufacturing here in the Baltics it took us about four years to actually get everyone to understand the level we needed for the UK market and still we have to push each and every day to keep that level high. Otherwise the market from outside would be a mess there are companies that manufacture log Cabins and Timber Frame buildings that are absolutely rubbish and not even worth looking at but how do you tell ( Mr Customer) when every 3D image or 3-D video looks the same as everyone else’s, So you run to the show site where the best of the best cabins they have ever made are on display. It is never a good idea to go to a show site and get your head filled up with their lies, its always best to speak to one of their customers, and ask them how it all went, or maybe 5 customers or 10, this way you will have a honest review on who and what they pretend to be.
We have been here from the beginning, and honestly speaking 99% of this industry is full of conmen!
OK…. there is quality and there is Factory Cabins which has the highest quality regard on design, build and price. In todays life, there are lots of people that really want the best of the best, and it is a forgone conclusion that if you manufacture with the best materials and very highly skilled craftsman the outcome will be a product of intense beauty, to with stand mother nature and the years in front. Many people buy a log cabins or a Timber Frame Buildings due to aesthetically pleasing pictures, and 3d videos companies show case. We are very different, we design amazing houses, but we build superb timber frame buildings, as a drawing is never as good as the real thing!
This is exceptional quality as you can see, and with out fault, and where can you buy this from, Well, sadly only us, why? because we manufacture houses to the highest standard on the planet, and our skilled craftsman are the best of the best. Which really does mean……. we are the best and thats that!
I will say this till I am blue in the face, but no matter what country you are in, if the builder wants cash, always say to yourself this one question, does your boss in Tesco’s, of in the bank , or where ever you work pay your salary in cash, no he does it through the bank, and you do the same, and my personal recommendation is
ALWAYS REMEMBER PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD
Sadly I have seen too many self employed cabin sellers, resellers, in England and Ireland steal, and I mean they have no intension at all in ever giving you the cabin, they just steal. So my advice, is to speak to a minimum of 10 of their previous customers before giving them a penny, then pay them by card. That way your safe.
OK , so lets talk about whats what. Firstly, I have written on my blog so many times about cowboy buildings, thats in all the market, shed, cabins, houses, timber frame and brick, ((( UK))) you look for the solution to a problem you might have, which is normally space, and what happens you go to the Yellow pages and pic the one that they say is the best, you then have some guy comes round, and prices up your job, in the UK any kind of construction starts from ( not shed or log ) but Timber , Brick, Brick being the one that most people jump on, then deciding it will not help much when it comes to being quick, no fuss, or mess.
So, prices….
The cost of building a 2 bedroom house in the UK is anywhere between £187,625.00 to £281,437.00 the average size is FROM 60 SQ METERS TO 105 SQ METERS, depending. ( we are not talking about quality buildings, we are talking about the mass produced crap, which are generally called starter homes, thin walls, zero ( what we consider to be nothing) insulation and the cheapest double glazing the company can find).
Most Normal houses start with a price if completely detached about £220.000, and we are not talking about a quality, amazing , superb, etc. they are OK.. Building costs in the UK start from £1,950 per square metre.
56.16 SQ METER. And the starting price is , ready , FROM £239.995 56.17 Square Meters.
This is for seriously a cheap manufactured house. I could not find anywhere how they built this house and with what, what materials and quality of them. And the problem is, it’s bunched up with loads of other houses. Are they using graded timber, or just unseasoned knotting timber, are they using quality insulation or just cheap and cheerful low grade rock wool, or some cheap foil back??
Do they love what they do, or just your money! This question I ask everyone who does any work for me, be it the mechanic or my electrician. If its for the money only, then later, find someone new who really enjoys what he does.
There is Land to be found, and there is space, and you can get planning, and you can make your house far better, cheaper costs, and almost off grid if you know what you’re doing.
All I am saying is think before you start to spend loads of money on a house that costs loads of money to run…..
And, in 2022, a cost estimation for a house is anywhere between £1,750 and £3,000 per m2.
Now check this out……… This is a build regulation that is far surpass the UK build regulations, it makes a mockery of it.
The main requirements for TEK17 are low U-values of house constructions and airtightness of the structure.
Floor construction U-value – not more than 0,15 W/m2K
Outside wall – not more than 0,18 W/m2K
Roof – not more than 0,13 W/m2K
Windows and doors (with frame) – not more than 0,8 W/m2K
We can go higher on the U value, and not for a great deal more, But! You will loose some internal space of your unit.
This way Norwegian authorities push new buildings to be energy-efficient and this way the country is leading in the world according to high standards for buildings.
This is what you should be aiming for…. But can your builder A-afford to build this kind of building, given current price levels, yes, he could if he were us, even cheaper, and Factory means Factory, and the TEK 17 build reg is way out of most people’s dreams.
Not because its super expensive, but because people just go to the wrong people to purchase their dream home.
Firstly Credit Cards, they are perfect, always pay deposits, or whatever you buy with a card, your protected. I have said many times, that builders now are going broke, why? because they spend the profit, and keep the material cost of that month in their pocket, profit comes at the end, not beginning, remember that and you are always safe, that’s how a good business works, also work out a payment schedule, not done, not paid.
And as everything rises in price, daily, weekly, your builder’s price is gone, and a new one is to follow, or they go bust. So, what do you do…? Call us…

We guarantee the cabin for 10 years, not just the timber, the building, and that includes our windows and doors and also the floor, roof, etc, please see our terms and conditions, extensive and very long, but in a nut shell , if you look after our cabins, your laughing. Do not trust people who say things like, arrr we use slow grown pine from Russia, LIARS, its impossible to buy now, but getting it from other countries that have the same kind of conditions for slow grown timber is easy to find if you just get off your lazy ass and look. And we looked years ago. So ours is slow grown, and good quality.

Why am I talking about this, well we have a stalker, its a dealer we sacked, and when a staff member contacted and asked trust pilot to look at our stalkers mental rantings they said pay and its gone, this is not how business works, so we have decided to pay some really nice Indians IT guys to come up with a website completely dedicated to listing Trust pilots errors. We think this will balance the tables where this is concerned. All profits will go to Children who suffer with cancer here.
Sadly they do not remove stalker reviews, or any other kind of reviews fake reviews, and they also allow spamming etc if you pay, and when you speak to them, guess what, they say ( Pay ) and you can clear the fake harmful reviews, for me, when I get a bad review which is not often, its normally from customers who do not get discounts because there was a virus, and trucking pricing went up in the UK and they said give us a discount of £1000 or we will talk to your credit card company, that was stupid, as their deposit was back in their bank before their fingers left the send key on their email to us. Their cabin was resold instantly, we manufacture the best cabins in the market, we have been called middle men, Yes, we have 6 different manufacturers manufacturing our designs, at a price that makes everyone happy, we keep an eye on quality, and we better the cabins each and every day. With over 7000 designs, designed by us, manufactured with a mill we have been working alongside for 20 years, I would say we are one company. 2020 we sacked all our dealers, everyone, as we looked at their pricing, our pricing, and that was that. We could not understand a difference of £3000 to £8000 on a building. we felt that the public were being cheated. This upset a lot of people, some of these people were friends, but non the less the public were, being cheated. I asked everyone nicely to remove my images, remove my name and for them to go to other manufacturers. Some were very upset, some were angry, some like skinners refused to remove our designs from their website, and others just go to trust pilot and scream and shout.
This is just a few videos, easy to find, and all about trust pilot and that their reviews sadly are bought and paid for, they are not to be trusted.
As a Danish company, and as they only care about money, which is their ultimate goal, and the need for them to just earn and earn, things will change soon for this company I am positive.

This was left on the logcabinslv.ie trust pilot account, which has nothing to do with us, it belonged to a reseller called Leon Vlahovic, company Straight Solutions, which sadly the word Straight does not at all fit Leon. he has stolen from so many customers, its now in the the Tens, and these trusting customers are shouting at us, because he took their deposits and ran away, non of the customers paid by credit card, , we have nothing to do with this company, we were just one of many people Leon bought from, and when we heard what he was doing we demanded he take down our products and we then put up a blog and made it clear and this is 6 months ago not to deal with him. We have had many people from Ireland thank us for that Blog.
And we have people like John here in Ireland, sadly crying that he did not get his money, he did get his money mind you, but Leon was late or something, so he wanted compensation, and sadly wrote a long honest to some points part in trust pilot. Arr he called us, and threatened us with legal action , but our lawyer explained to him that he bought his cabin, from a different company, we had had no email connection, trade connection, payment connection, talk connection, and we only supplied cabins to Leon, but as always, he wants money. There were many who never got a cabin as Leon is a very nasty selfish thief.
I am not sure if everyone knows this, but because you all buy cabins from Resellers, they are in fact second hand! Only if you buy them direct will they be a New Cabin, and our teams and conditions would apply only then.
John F Longford, is nearing on liable, and so is Trust Pilot, which is why we intend to get judgement from the people freely, and let them talk freely about their experience with trust pilot… we know the platform will be attacked which is why we intend to put it in India. All negative reviews about trust pilot will be kept, also we have Lawyers who work on no win no fee to help us with this Trust Pilot problem. We will look for people who want to sue, just sue. Loss of earning, destroyed their business, and then take Trust Pilot to court each day and night in many many countries at once, and then hopefully they will clean up their act. I have so many stupid people call me and tell me they are going to build a camping site, and please can they have our in depth technical drawings of our amazing high quality top of the line camping pods, or our insulated passive housing, what ever, and then they submit that to the council, council say yes because the quality is so exceptionally high, also with safety at the forefront , and the product we offer does not look like a load of chicken sheds on a hill side of natural beauty, and then once the council looks at us they say yes, and then the Holiday Camping site Entrepreneur buys cheap crap, and saves himself 1000’s and puts all your lives at risk.
So we now say no, and no its going to stay, so if your calling me for a plan, it will cost you now a few pennies and you must offer a land line and mobile number. otherwise buy the crap from someone else.

This joke of a company do not have my permission to sell my cabins, or use my images, but, Skinner Sheds are a law to themselves. but check out their pricing and they want to sell you a second hand cabin for £2000 more than a new one from us.
Skinners, again stealing our drawings, art work, design, and then over pricing you by ££££££££££££££££££ and its an ex display model! 11.879.00 for a second hand building. Wow, and his windows and doors are shocking, plus ex display means, shrinkage, water damage and stains. all equals, Rubbish for that price.
Yep, this is ours, ours alone, Skinners stole the art work as I said, and he is trying to steal from you £2000 plus with his price, however our cabin to you will have will have amazing windows and doors, his are sadly shed quality, his customer service is like talking to HSBC, and to top it off, his timber is Baltic, he purchases his cabins from a very good high volume mill, but it is a bulk mill, nothing fancy, nothing to write home about. The owner , cool dude, and he makes lots and lots of cabins, who he sells to everyone. Everywhere.
First thought….. Take away the Britmet Tiles and you get left with a shoddy shed!
Space, space is what you need in a park, also each pod much be a certain distance apart because of fire, and you only put vertical cladding if you know what your doing, this company has no over hang, and puts the facia directly to the outside cladding, which is why you have this problem we pointed out, but as you can see the company that installed manufactured these pods have not done the right thing and gone back, this company is with out doubt cheap and nasty, And I would advice to stay away. This company we sacked, and they still have our designs littered over their website, so we are doing the same, but rather than tell the world these are ours, we are saying, stay away, do not waste your money.
OK… Look at these Pods, I am not going to mention the company that made them, but if you look at them you will notice that the middle ones already have already rot, blue, black stain. “Why are they in this condition, they are new yes? ” yes they are , so why are they in so bad condition, and why are they sitting on the cheapest base ever made, that will fall apart , all these questions you are asking yourself, ( because you are thinking of opening a park) simple, badly manufactured, manufactured by people who actually have no clue in this world what they are doing. Disgusting,,,,,, Over priced Rubbish, we sell pods for £9.000, £25.000, £33.000,£38.000 and even £179.000 and none of them have ever turned out this way, because we tell our customers firstly how to treat them, and secondly what we manufacture is 100% quality, unlike this mess.
When you are looking for a quality camping pod, do not look for ones with roofs made of timber, it means your fucking stupid! If timber was a good product to put on roofs all the houses would have it? Some people want to earn money so they purchase some land with an amazing view then they put in that view shit pods that look like old army barracks of world war 1, and why, because they had enough to purchase both land and a quality pod, but decided to buy the land and fill it with rubbish. and spend the rest on a holiday, I know you are all thinking I am being cruel, I am not, and this is why so many local authorities ask to see the plans of the Pods and which manufacturer if making them, and yes we are known in this industry as one of the top manufacturers.
Next getting back to this crap laid out on these awful cheap bases,If you look at the boxes on the same wall, these are for electric, and that black, and blue stain means that its a wet area, and then you throw electric into the mix. Not a very safe environment for children, staff, public, anyone for that matter.

You’re not, your bank account thinks you should and your telling yourself that a 34mm and a 70mm is the same it’s not, but you don’t, as wasting money is wasting money, so stay away from Resellers 34mm log cabins and crap they are no better than an up market shed, quickly manufactured windows and doors, they fall apart almost immediately.
Our Windows and doors are not just a amazing they are the best, we have spent no expense on producing them, and making sure everyone in the industry is way way behind us in quality level.
Lots and Lots of companies have already tried to already copy our door design , hinges, quality handles and lots, but copying them is one thing, but getting the quality means you must pay for it, and we have.paid for ours heavily, our doors are not allowed to be put into the cabin until they are completely and utterly stained and waterproofed, they they can be fitted, the reason for this is that they are manufactured from joinery timber, and their moisture content is very low and they will expand and not fit if they are not treated until exposed to the weather.
This is not a cheap cabin, no no means but it will stand its ground for more than 20 years…. FACT!
You are not looking for a concrete foundation that will crack and be damp. You are not looking for a company that shows you a pretty picture and delivers you a mess. missing bits, broken parts etc, and the sales man , woman , tells you they are the best of the best and you be as snug as a bug all year round, and the walls are 44mm single skin. You are not looking for a company who cuts its timber from Baltic Spruce or Pine, its quick grown and rubbish, Imedeska and a few other manufacturers, sell baltic pine, they basically bid in the local market for local logs, cut it, dry it, in old uncertified kilns, and then sell it on with mass profit, it splits, it looks nice a white, sandy coloured, but honestly the timber is crap.and it will rot in 7 years with or with out stain, rot protection, the timber is too new to hold any kind of self oil, and then you will remember back to reading this blog and remember when i said buying cheap is foolish.

Hi everyone, this whole virus routine is back again, I HEAR YOU ALL SCREAMING YOUR THOUGHTS AT ME, AND TO ALL, Yeah I KNOW, but the only help I can offer is a place of silence, warmth, and zero drama, amazing value and working from home is amazing actually, depends or for some not so, rolling out of bed, getting dressed in something super comfy, forget the rushing for trains, or driving in traffic, loud noises, smelly uncomfortable tube rides, and the real focusing on your work blown by getting into a bad mood before your even behind your desk to work, I hated the rain and getting wet, getting to work finding my spot gone to park and then running in the rain to the lobby and then remembering the security card to get into the office I had left in the car, and many of us have been through this, and then wanting, needing a garden office, you need space for and wanting it now, then you go on line and you see prices from 3000 pounds for a shed thats only fit for a lawn mower, to 80.000 pounds thats honestly worth 20.000 pounds, you need honesty, you need a office that honestly will be exactly what you need and no messing. around.

So what do you do? OK, you firstly call 100’s of companies selling cabins, and they all say the same crap, cabins last over 10 years, 44mm is perfect, or go to a 90mm glulam as its perfect, but costs a lot more, then you ask how long they say 20 to 25 weeks, and then payment, which is always the sore subject, the red ball that bounces round the room and he says, oh! its X and please pay to this account, and and and.
OK! Let’s rewind, firstly we have lots and lots of different cabins, which are built from timber frame or machined log, and I would guarantee not one of them really honestly suits your needs, which is why nearly 99.9% of our cabins are altered in some way or other. most companies cut Twinskin log cabin cavities at 57mm because thats the CNC optimal cutting in which the log will not super vibrate and snap off. I know this because i was the first person to design, manufacture and sell a Twin Skin, and ours cavities are wider, and not just because of structural reasons, A twin skin 5.7m x 5.7m in 70mm with 100mm gap, is what i would always say the perfect garden office.
Most sales guys in this industry have no idea on this subject, when you buy from us you are travelling on a quick conveyer belt to an easy solution to get your cabin, because dealing direct means sensible pricing, and a quick turn around, we can make everything happen, and quickly.

Let’s talk about pricing. We would push you to Pay Us with a Credit Card, why you are asking…well because you are safe, we want you to understand that no matter who you pay, and who you buy a cabin from make sure when buying a log cabin in the UK, or Europe, Credit Card. deposit, credit card, last payment, credit card, if the company asks you to pay direct into the bank, avoid them. if they do not have the ability to accept cards, it does not mean. they are a bad company but it does mean your protection is gone..
We tell our resellers that we are very happy when they get their customers to pay by card, we feel its a must, not all agree with us, and we can not force them.
Today we have a problem, timber prices, gas prices, fuel prices could and do rise in an instant, and if a company, reseller sells you a cabin, and does not order it from us till the end of the month or following and has not asked us for a price, and this kind practice, it done by many Log Cabin companies, sadly its common in the UK, and they do this with their overseas suppliers and mainly it’s because of money transfers etc, and something you to remember is we supply these people with our products only , we do not pay them a salary, they are not linked to us in any other way that they buy our products and resell them. And when they come to order your cabin from us which you paid them for the prices could have risen and if they are not aware of this or have not put this into their pricing structure, then this is where the problems start. They are our customer, you are not. So what we think is right and wrong, legally we have nothing to say to them. Which is why we sell direct, and we have amazing reviews, and we always make sure our customers gets their products. We do not offer anything but the shell, if you want a full turn Key, we can sell you a shell, and then try and help you with local tradesman in your area to do the rest, we would sell you the cabin, and the trades guys you would pay direct, you get a full turn key , office, granny flat , spare room or garage. what ever, but it would be the best. And thats why we say to people buy direct, as we know our prices from month to month, we keep to our pricing, and we never let people down, if they shut the boarders, or close roads, or governments ban trucking, or there is a massive covid outbreak, then sadly we can not do any thing about this, none of us can, but we try our best.

I am sorry to say, but our Irish Dealer Leon Vlahovic who is working with our Brand in Southern Ireland, has gone into administration. this we have found out not to be the truth.
Leon found it very hard to deal with the covid, also falling off a ladder, breaking his leg and ankle while out doing an assembly, ( this we found out to be a lie) and sadly the timber prices and the inflation in Ireland, and many other factors, have left Leon unable to continue business. he sadly lied to everyone, and we feel ashamed that we even know this guy, its the second time in Ireland this has happened.

Now to today after listening to a lawyer, and the disgusting way she spoke to me, and blaming us here at the factory for another company stealing money off a poor customers, and us trying our best to stop this made me realise that something must be said.
When a manufacturer, who sells 100’s of cabins a year, to many different countries all self employed Dealers who all trade under their own company name , who then sell it on to their customers, and yes they can sell it as an LV Log Cabin, in so far as they are telling the customers that its an LV cabin our brand is the best, we have companies telling their clients its an LV when its not, we have customers who steal our images and say LV, if you read this blog you will see many of them, . As our brand its the best, and also has amazing reviews world wide, and as soon as crooked dealer steals off the customer, sadly we are not to blame, and the lawyer knew this today, as the dealer is self employed and he/she was selling to the customer ( Credit Card) , not us, we had no knowledge of this sale if it was or was not sold, if its a bespoke cabin we are then asked by our self employed dealer ( Leon) for a quote from us to price, and that’s that, the only time we get to know a name is if its quoted for, if the trader wants it, we send his company an invoice and everything moves on from there, he then gives to his customer the cabin if he has paid….BUT… If he takes money, and does not buy from us, we do not know, if he does or does not it’s not our concern. but there is more to this, because if the lawyer thinks we are responsible then all the other contractors are too, and our lawyer friend, the lawyer then must go after the all contractors who Leon was going to use to lay the concrete bed,-2000-2500- she must also go after the-3000 to 5000 Kitchen supplier and 2000 bathroom supplier, and everything else Leon promised, 800 Bed supplier, 800 Boiler, electrician, 1500 plumbing guy, 2/3/4000 depending on what is used roofing contractor, and the suppliers of that, as we supply the bare skin shell, Our price for the cabin is a very small part of the actual cost. Which one of our customers Emma has found, we managed to stop her cabin being resold as the time limit was up and storage and mill costs needed to be paid, which was coming to more than 1000 euros, as leon had stored the building and did not pay the trucking company . As a company this is another companies issues, and legally we have no right in law to stick our nose in, but those that know me, know I do. There were many cabins priced, Fergus, Emma , and and and, luckily the one in stock was Emma in Ireland, and she paid the charge Leon owed and got her cabin.
Getting back to a rude lawyer, that woman made me angry, this year i got TV3 in sweden, FSC, Ikea and Parliament together to speak about the deforestation of trees as Ikea was cutting massive lumps of forest and not replanting. And this woman calls me up and speaks to me like I am the bad guy and it’s all my fault. Where the fault lays is that she knows what to do, and that’s going to the clients address and giving him a lift to the Police Station.
Everyone who knows us knows we hate all this kind of disgusting behaviour, fraud, theft, and misinformation.
If someone takes something from you……. and they do not give it to you, its fraud, clear and simple, and its Police Matter, not Lawyer, pay me money!
If the company goes bankrupt, then it’s down to the liquidators to collect from the estate and hand it out evenly
And what makes me angry, is that she knows what the customer must do, but she then plays I will save the day and hands out large bills for a job she should not be getting involved with, and she knows this, and she knows who to call, but she wants to earn money from a poor old man who had 30.000 stolen from him. Then she starts threatening people. Which is rather counterproductive, as her motives are only self driven. And against a company that will sue her for defamation. And when we went back to her with some history, she was not interested, acted the high and mighty and seriously our company Lawyers child are more polite.
If you live in Dublin and you go to Colins BMW Service, and they sell you a car, you are buying from Colins, not BMW,we give our Self Employed Dealers warranty on this and that we are not giving to the customer, as the customer is not the purchaser to us, the Self Employed Dealer is.

If Leon owes you money, please contact the Police, not a lawyer. Our Lawyer has told us to ask all customers that were dealing with Leon Vlahovic, who was a full Self Employed Dealer of Log Cabins, Timber Buildings, Ground Works and who bought from us only Log Cabins, he also bought from other companies log cabins to make an official complaint. We have been instructed by Leon of Straight Solutions that he would take care of all his clients, we did not have a list, just a few names he threw at us for pricing, which we have tried to find, we found one, and as I said the lawyer was so incredibly rude. And most have come to us. We have asked them all to report this to the correct officials ( that being the police) who do not charge you money. as in most cases the poor customer has lost already enough through lies and deceit.
We helped Pope Concor a few years back in Ireland track down a very very very bad dealer , and get him arrested for selling awful cabins, and just being crooked through and through, as we hate this, and I am sure I will have a discussion with him on this . Also mention how lawyers are profiting from this misery when there is only one course of justice. This rude woman really has put my back up, and she is promising something to someone she can not give, and charging for it.

Seriously check out this cabin, really check it out, it’s just simply amazing, and it is actually the best of the best to be offered in this cut throat market, most mills will lie and lie, and when you get the product it’s simply awful. But how are you to know any better, simple, look at my REAL photos, the only touch ups is to my belly in some of the photos, But seriously check out the windows and doors, the quality of the timber, the cut, the finish, the presence, the cabin is beautiful.
As soon as I add quality german hinges to my cabins, sadly there are companies that have already copied my hinge design and added black similar chinese very cheap hinges to try and fool you, you can not mistake ours with this rubbish, they forgot to make the windows thicker, they forgot to add a 5 point locking system on their doors and windows and they also forgot to remove the plastic from his windows sills, as we all love plastic , we use quality aluminum to the windows and doors, and if you notice the windows ( opening ones have 2) they also forgot to make the windows and doors from joinery timber, and lastly .
Plus they forgot to add German quality handles, and if you think the first and last part of the cabin you touch is the door handle, it’s important that every part of the cabin is quality.
Black looks awful, cheap and apart from that, the timber used on this cabin is Baltic Pine as it does not have a huge amount of red pigment.

Why is everyone complaining about prices, why? What do you expect when you close all industry down for more than a year on the whole planet, you think its just going to jump straight back up and start pumping out again the same old rubbish as before? No, people have changed and changed a lot, people who drove lorries now want to be farmers and have a slower life, those that worked in the factories now want to work from home, or start up their own business, this Virus has changed us all, and timber prices as well as everything else has gone up, why? Because there is demand, but sadly though there is not enough timber to go around, plus and this is the funny thing, in the UK for years we have listened to government and the EU about how bad everyone is but us, it’s amazing really, because we are all as bad as each other, now as a Britt, I have not lived in the UK for many, many years, and I have travelled extensively and met all walks of life from many different countries, but today we will speak about 2 in particular. Russia and Belarus. Both these countries have own the vast majority of the lungs of the world, (Forests in case someone is confused). Now these two countries are always jumped on for being run by criminals, dictators and the like, which is utter rubbish, because you all in the EU or UK are being told YOU MUST HAVE THE VACCINE, that is dictatorship. That is exactly what we say about Russia and Belarus, even to the point where the passports must be changed now in the EU and UK to show who has and who has not been vaccinated. I thought we all had a choice, seems not. Am I really living in a freedom of speech state, where my thoughts and wants, desires and needs are respected, well sadly no we are not? Our governments were supposed to change every so many years, now we have career politicians running everything, year after year and lying weekly and daily, and nothing is done about it, and most are complete and utter paedophiles and inbreeds.

So…. It is laughable, these countries hold the majority of the Timber, Construction, wood on this side of the planet, so now Russia, Belorussia and the like are telling the EU and the UK, go scratch. What ever you want, pay for it now. And that’s why houses, cabins, sheds, fencing, decking, floorboards, construction timber all around the globe has tripled in price. In the future Russian companies and Belorussian companies will own companies in the UK and sell their lumber directly to the public and cut out the middle man, they will sell it cheaper, and better quality. This is the future.

Then here comes the real , serious rip offs, Check out the two last cabins, and you will see they are both priced similar, one in 35mm, thats not a bad size if you want cheap and cheerful, and then there is 44mm which is my favourite, and it hardly splits and never twists if its put up quickly and treated, put on a good flat base and you add the gutters etc. Flat base, gutters, good body stain, decent roof covering and a good drain away and our cabins will last 20 + years, I personally have the first ever 44mm twin skin building ever made, and i can say hand on heart do a good job at the beginning and it could out live you, and i have designed the windows and doors to be super hardy!
Below is a building that is say £3000 cheaper than both, yet is bigger, better looking, it has my designed roof, and your friends will do a back flip when they go inside and have a look at your new chill out room. bar, pool room, or just office.
And if the mill cuts the corners from its timber logs it means they are twisted and it stops you seeing the twist. Now you know and you know what to look out for and not buy.
Actually I have no clue, but we are up there with the 1% that do.

One of my amazing dealers had a old stupid woman call her and say she had a problem with her cabin she had bought 2 years ago, my agent of 12 years said what can i help you with she said the water is coming in, my agent asked for photos, and then the old woman like most started shouting credit card and all this, crap about unfit and and. Well she forgot to put gutters on her building for two years….. People should read terms and conditions. Always Guttering….. And Draining…. Then she calls one of my agents threatens her with liable action and shouts out credit card this and that, always read terms and conditions, your house is not sitting in water, so what should your amazing log cabin ( my amazing log cabins) ?? Some people are just exceptionally stupid.

I like LogCabins ,Imagine, £ 13.732.78 Factory Cabins £ 5880, and its the same size cabin, my windows and doors are amazing, no clue about the other company, but the price difference you could buy hand made wooden bespoke metal facial windows and doors. German, and still have change. So why the high prices? Yes my cabins are are all priced ex works, yes mine have zero taxes, so add £ 3000, tax and transport, and you get £8056, I make a profit still, so why the £13.732.78 ?…… Many words come to mind, but i will let you make your mind up which one to use.

Its really up to you as the buyer who you decide to buy from, but do not moan about how long it takes to get to you, we have a virus which is global, and it seriously messes up everything when you least expect. And if you see this stupid sign that says buy British, then remember one thing, we do not have any timber left, none, exactly 12 thousand sq miles of it, which is zero, or I will put it another way.

Also another unknown fact, Right now, vast swathes of Russia are covered in “illegal” forests. 10% of all the forest in Russia (that’s an area about twice the size of Spain) lies in areas formerly or currently designated as agricultural land .This does mean its amazing, that we have vast forests, simple more trees, less food, less food grown, higher prices. Spain land mass is 195, 464 Sq miles, UK has only 12000 Sq miles of forest, do you see the picture now???

The reason pricing is going up for the very best timber, is that America is now as well as the Chinese buying Russian lumber in massive quantitates , and as you can imagine both are greedier than the other. Seriously have you looked at most of the windows and doors on these cabins, they are a joke, complete and utter joke, we even have a few that want you to IKEA some talk about mass produced way overpriced rubbish, and the paint on the last one was flaking off the frame, that’s quality assured..
Handle too small, normal for bulk cabins cheap and nasty all the way.this is the worst tilt and turn system in the market. Its crazy, but i was looking through my old hard drives and i found our old images we use to use in the old days, like 2001/2007 and then we changed, and they were just left in a folder and forgotten about, I know a few people still use them, but I just thought i would share them with you today and maybe you see something that over the time has disappeared from all our new designs we have now, which believe me is a the largest cabin designs in the world.
