What I would like to speak about tonight is not the normal stuff of looking at the bulk superstore type manufacturing cabins that blight our gardens and look like repetitive clones from one garden to another.

The windows and doors that fall apart after one season because of their shoddy construction and poor workmanship.

I want to speak about the lies told on websites that sell log cabins that go unnoticed.

Today there were a group of us on Skype chatting about windows and doors, and how companies tell absolute lies.

OK for instance, a company said, I quote, we manufacture the best windows and doors in the industry as a standard fit?

So then this company goes onto explain how their glass unit, that is not even CE certified, which is 4m x 6m x 4m is the best in the business.

What a load of rocking horse pooh, 14mm double glazed units, that are not even certified are the best the industry has to offer. Looks like the person that wrote that, never surfs the web of knows what his competition is offering.

To be honest I would not say logcabinslv are the competition, we are the leaders in this market, due to the fact we have been here longer than anyone, and have the largest range and largest design portfolio than anyone.

But we also offer better, and we offer it as standard.

Our Deluxe Range of Windows and Doors are CE certified, 24mm thick, and come sprayed to your choice of colour. No one offers that but us.

There are companies that claim to sell this, but actually its a bulk superstore lie, as only we offer this in the market for 44mm log cabins.

So how it we can, they can’t, I hear you ask, well it’s quite simple.

Log Cabin manufacturers, the Bulk trashy superstore kind of set ups manufacture in Bulk, and I mean mass bulk, Mass, go onto their websites and they will show you cabins piled high on top of one another, and who wants 20 tons of timber sat on their cabin before they get it? Seriously, do you?

Anyway, the reason these mills can not produce decent windows and doors is because of profit, and the way to get the profit margins high is pack them high, and manufacture the superstore way, which is cheap and cheerful.

And this is why windows and doors in 99.9% of log cabins are crap!

Also the manufacturing of windows and doors is important, and log cabin mills do not tend to invest in quality machinery for the manufacturing of windows and doors, its normally crude, and set up for volume not quality.

Moreover, this is where we are VERY different, our windows and doors are manufactured in a factory that solely manufactures windows and doors, also these mills are all certified manufacturing departments, CE certified, ISO and Trada.
