As we all know log cabins, timber cabins, garden offices in log, or just you’re plain old summer house are great places to spend time, reading a book, or watching a film, playing snooker, or sitting in your hot tub!

But a more serious issue is now showing its ugly head, and this is that our first time buyers (our children) are unable to get onto the property ladder. Rents are ever increasing, and a housing deficiency is looming through out Europe.

As more and more migrants travel to where the work is, the less housing is to be had in that country, and as always rents tend to increase 10 fold.

Sadly most governments have neglected this problem, especially England and Sweden.

Both countries needing over 100.000 new homes (Now…2014).

So at logcabinslv.co.uk we have decided to offer our Unique Micro House Range, which are not just affordable, extreme quality, built to a very high standard, Euro Code 5, and are incredibly durable.

Our Micro Houses are clad in grade A Northern Siberian Larch, they also are fitted through out with CE approved Windows and Doors, heavily insulated walls, floor and roof, and we have taken special care to make them feel roomy.

Living in a small room, would make us all go mad, so we have designed these little houses to have a flood of natural light. Also we have taken special care not to make them look like the Second World War pillar-boxes, which sadly most small houses today tend to look like.

The next question you may want to ask yourself is? Can you move these once they are built? The answer to that is easy, yes! If you tell us when the project is in the manufacturing stages, we can design the structure to be moveable.

So many small buildings once bought, tend to decrease in value quicker than an old loaf of bread; this is where our Micro Houses are very different.

We are manufacturing our structures to a very high standard from start, Euro 5 code, however we go beyond this, we only use graded timber C24, sadly most builders will use either a zero grade, or C16 which keeps their manufacturing costs down, and profits high, sadly it also means your micro house is worthless after 5 to 10 years.
