Laminated Logs are made with precision machinery, the timber is never above 14% moisture content, and all the unwanted large knots, splits are cut from the FSC plank, then the timber goes through a process of manufacturing, the CNC machinery used in this process is a multi million euro investment.Our laminated Engineered Timber is not just the best it is better than the best. I know a lot of people will laugh at this claim, so I have added a few photos to this blog to cancel all unwanted remarks. Over the next few months we will be bringing to market a New and Exciting range of laminated Log cabins the starting wall thickness will be 50mm, YES!! you all read that bit correct, a 45mm laminated log cabin, as always we are the first to bring to market new and exciting products and this product is very exciting. The reason I have chosen 45mm to start with , is that it is affordable, it will be offered with Aluminum Windows and Doors, UPVC windows and doors, Laminated Windows and Doors, or just simple Solid Strong Windows and Doors.

50mm Laminated log cabins can not be bought at present on the market especially in Northern Siberian Larch, and our sister company that provides 99.9% of the Laminated Timber to the Baltic companies will be the first to attempt this log thickness in laminated timber, we will also be able to offer not just 45mm x 200mm but also 50mm x 200mm Laminated Log 60mm x 200mm Laminated Log and 70mm x 200mm laminated logs and upwards in 20 mm from 80mm x 200mm.

Laminated FSC Timber as we all know does not shrink, however it will compress under its roof weight, a 3.5m wall in log thickness 80mm x 200mm will only compress once, and the compression would be to about 10 mm . We all know that Laminated Logs can be pressure treated before sending to the customer, they can be treated against fire, and we all know Laminated Purlins are the number one choice in most house constructions.. There are many, many great reasons to pick a laminated Timber Log Cabin over a Spruce solid timber Log Cabin, but for me the main reason is that we are able to offer 10 meter long wall with no breaks which is absolutely impossible with solid timber logs. Aesthetically is it a far more attractive looking log cabin it is stronger, harder wearing, laminated timber log cabins are without doubt the best of the best when it comes to buying, purchasing a log cabin. Think Log think twice, think Laminated!

When manufacturing Quality Log Cabins the most important part of the production is the treatment of the timber, how it is cut, how it is prepared and how it is machined. Our quality FSC timber is dried using the latest Kilns, investment into top of the range Kilns means quality log boards for your log cabin, after 5 days in the Kilns we then allow our boards to relax in our large storage buildings . We have anything from 600 m3 to 2000 m3 drying at a time.

Once our timber is perfectly dry moisture content of 15/17% we then process the timber with some of the most expensive moulding machines, CNC machinery in the business. This allows us to offer our customers quality log cabins time and time again. When receiving your log cabin we would suggest you treat the timber immediately, this keeps the timber in tip top condition.

Unlike anyother manufautre in the UK, Europe we are able to manufacture a Log Cabin wall log 12m long with out interuption, this then gives the out side of the log cabin/ laminated cabin an amazing aesthetically beautiful look. All our machinery is Computerised, which means the logs are exactly the same length, which equals a cabin that is perfect every time.
