Clock House just got better and better, then the low end high volume boys of the market started to copy this design, and now we have sadly very awful manufactured clock houses on the market, and sadly you, the public have no clue what’s good and bad


Now you may say, they are all the same, which is like saying a shed is like a house, because we all know a shed is always poorly manufactured, does not last more than 5 years if you’re lucky, and eventually leaks, but this is not the case with our clock house, a factory cabins clock house is manufactured to last, and I mean last, forget the cheap sector with their claims of a clock house cabin will last 10 years, they never mention their windows and doors, only the box, But the windows and doors are not, and to be courteous, I will just keep shut, but please remember to ask for windows and doors photos before you buy.

Due to the different materials used in construction, tiny homes are not the same as insulated double-skin log cabins. Cladding, panelling, and other materials are frequently used in tiny houses to provide insulation and protection from the weather. They are typically constructed with timber frames. Due to their lower size and lack of need for the same structural calculations, tiny homes do not have the same structural requirements as double-skin log cabins. Now, a lot of house manufacturers in the UK do stick build, that means your back garden is there factory work space, Say that’s ok for timber to get a bit wet, well, that may be the case if they manufacture your tiny house with cheap timber, but we use only the best KD C24, and it is unwise to get KD which means Kiln Dried timber wet, its KD because it must last minimum 100 years+ and C24 is a visual grade, that means its quality through and through.

So, you have learned a lot in this blog about what a tiny house should be manufactured from, only really, as you want it to last a long time and to be very energy efficient.

And that’s why we built the first; obviously, there were no windows or doors, but it has 2 rooms.

 Lots of people make the mistake in thinking that a dog goes into his or her kennel and likes the cold air running over him or her all night, they don’t; a dog needs to go into a two-room kennel with a heated floor for winter, where they can go around the corner and then in the back, and because of the base, walls and roof are insulated, the flooring is made from non-bug carpeting, and the whole pent roof lifts off, so cleaning is easy if you have a good friend that will help you lift it off, as it is insulated and has gutters attached, etc, but  Your best friend (dog) is as snug as a bug in a rug!

We Manufacture the best, we build to customers request, so everything you see in this video, , everything to light fixtures, wiring etc, was done to the way the customer asked. Timber, Cabins and very Big Lies.

TwinSkin Log Cabins are without doubt, without doubt the best way of having a very large insulated structure and are still cheaper than Sips and Timber Frame.

Now let’s look at the competition, because if your smart your going to look around and find out what’s what and who’s who, so the first thing to do is make sure the timber is Belarusian or even Better Russian, not quick grown Splitting Baltic Pine or Spruce, Imedeska uses Baltic as do 90% of mills, sadly in the UK your timber industry like gas and other industries have started to fade and fade away, which is sad, but Inevitable, you have given Russia so many sanctions and bit the hand that fed you so often you are now in quicksand, slowly sinking, I think Boris will stop working with the EU on many fronts soon, and make ties, make peace, with Putin, and understand he is not our enemy, don’t listen to any of the left wing bullshit they tell you about him, its all crap.

Russia has without doubt the best timber in the world, forget canada, they mostly have douglas fir and Cedar, which is not particularly good for cabins, Russia Red and White is what you need your cabin manufactured from, and that’s where we come in, unlike most in the world, our timber is Russian, which is why the pine is so Red, it’s tough amazing timber that is perfect for cabins, and it’s all I want to manufacture from.

So many mills like Dunster will say Russian this and Russian that, Blar Blar Blar. Estonian, Baltic Spruce , Pine.

Why am I so mad on Pine, simple it soaks up the treatment quickly and deeply, spruce does not!
