The best House you can ever purchase is a Net Zero which is manufactured on a Top CNC House Line, not men using tape measures, and measuring 3 times and cutting once. Those days are gone. Sadly carpenters, working from stick builds are the thing of the past, your building must come to site , cut, finished, finished, so we can assemble in any weather. The panels are waterproof and the assembly is quick, and very efficient. Also our pricing is from £1.500 to £2.500 per square meters. Which for our production, and this includes assembly is the cheapest in the UK. And please remember our quality is second to none, We can also offer a full turn key assembly, Factory Cabins is in the forefront of the Net Zero Production for our highly insulated timber frame buildings, with cladding that will blow you away, and fireproofing, and the best ground heat source pumps available on the planet. We offer full solar power, and have the best experts to help you save and earn, so Net Zero is always your end goal!
A net zero timber frame building produces as much energy as it consumes, allowing it to essentially eliminate energy expenses, or ‘net zero’ energy usage. This sort of structure is highly efficient and uses renewable energy sources such as solar electricity. It is beneficial to both the environment and your wallet because it decreases pollutants and cuts expenses dramatically.
A ground source heat pump, batteries, solar panels, and a triple-glazed window are required to power a 200-square-meter house with three bedrooms, a parlour, a kitchen, and two bathrooms. In order to collect energy from the subsurface, the heat pump will require a borehole of at least 50 metres to be bored and ground loop pipes to be constructed. Because the batteries are what store the energy, they must be large enough to meet the building’s power requirements. The solar panels will provide direct power and must be placed on the roof. It is advised to have at least 200W of panels per square metre of property, therefore a 200 square metre roof will require 40kW of panels. Finally, triple-glazed windows are an excellent alternative for increased efficiency because they prevent noise, air leaks, and thermal bridging. A triple-glazed window with low U-values (the measure of thermal insulation performance) would be the ideal option.
In terms of insulation, the walls, floors, and roof should all be insulated according to current UK regulations, which are 38mm to 47mm in the walls and 40mm in the floors and roof. Warmcel, a soft, regenerated cellulose fibre manufactured from shredded newspaper, or specialised wool insulation is typically the best insulation for timber frame buildings. It is critical to utilise the appropriate type of insulation for your building construction.
Net zero is beneficial to the environment because it minimises energy use and emissions. Finally, less pollution in the atmosphere equals a healthier Earth. Net zero means you can save money on utility bills and make a strong return on your investment. You may also make your home more pleasant and fun to live in by increasing efficiency and improving air quality
You’ve come to the right site if you’re seeking to find a great twin skin log cabin at a fair price. Our cabins include 100mm gap between each log wall with 44mm x 44mm logs for insulation which is moisture resistance, quality at every level of construction.
I know you have been floating around the internet looking for that perfect log cabin, and they all seem the same, well your correct, they are all the same, they come off a massive production line that is designed to earn profit, and as much as possible, and these production lines use as less timber aas possible, which you might think is great, but not if your roof starts bowing, the windows and doors, leak, or there are bits missing, which is why we are busy 24/7 and our amazing assembly teams, do not go back to cabins after they have erected them.
The low end of the market, have 30% returns, and i am sure you do not want to be one of the customers that receive a log cabin from a supplier, garden centre or shed company that are just selling to earn, and you have waited and waited and it’s a heap of rubbish!
Each cabin has double-glazed, toughened joinery glulam windows and doors for safety and long-lasting performance. You may be confident that you’re getting the most value for your money with our affordable prices and fantastic features.

Factory Cabins Twin skin Log Cabins will bring years of delight due to its small footprint, but massive potential and manufactured by superior craftsmanship.
Adding a bathroom to an insulated log cabin twin skin, 44mm x 100mm x 44, is always a good idea for a variety of reasons. Firstly, it increases the value of the cabin, as it adds an extra amenity that potential buyers may be looking for. Secondly, it can be used to generate a passive income, particularly if the cabin is a two-room model, as it can be rented out as a holiday home or a long-term lodging. Lastly, it adds practicality to the cabin, making it more suitable for longer stays and providing a more comfortable living space.
These prices are from 2023-. Please call us for an update.

Due to the different materials used in construction, tiny homes are not the
same as insulated double-skin log cabins. Cladding, panelling, and other
materials are frequently used in tiny houses to provide insulation and protection
from the weather. They are typically constructed with timber frames. Due to
their lower size and lack of need for the same structural calculations, tiny
homes do not have the same structural requirements as double-skin log cabins.
Due to their smaller size, as well as the materials and labour necessary for
their design and construction, tiny houses always cost more than log
cabins.
The issue with tiny houses, and sadly, there are issues, is that they are
constructed using a timber frame, if Factory Cabins were going to
manufacturer a Tiny House, we would make them to building regs, we would
manufacture them to TEK17 (The Norwegian building regulations, or Tek 17, are
known all around the world for their emphasis on highly insulated timber frame
construction. This type of building is incredibly energy efficient and is
becoming increasingly popular in all countries. It is also incredibly
eco-friendly and can even lower the amount of energy needed to keep a home
comfortable. The regulations are strict and highly enforced, making them a great
choice for anyone who wants to construct a high-quality and energy-efficient
home). Because most UK construction companies are arrogant and prefer to
treat customers unfairly (they are greedy), this type of timber building would
sadly cost you an arm and a leg. Because we don’t, we consistently receive
repeat business.
The difference is £1000 ex works per square metre our price, and in 2024 UK
companies were charging a whopping £1,750 up to £3,000 per sq. m.
and the building was not anywhere near as insulated or manufactured as
solidly.
This is easy to say, try and explain, but in reality, its hard to picture.
so if you think of a phone book and a piece of paper, the piece of paper sadly
does not have much in the way of strength compared to the phone book, and that’s
the difference between what you receive from us and what you don’t receive from
the UK-based building companies.
And that also applies to tiny houses; the quality of the strength is very
much an issue, and the quality of the build is also an issue; most will stick
build it in the back, so if it rains everything is wet, and if they have just
started, it means your tiny house is core wet to start with. Not a great start
and leads to lots of rot in the centre of the walls. And as we know, mould can
kill. Sadly, many people have fallen for this over the years, and it’s a massive
problem to get rid of. Now, a lot of house manufacturers in the UK do stick
build, that means your back garden is there factory work space, Say that’s ok
for timber to get a bit wet, well, that may be the case if they manufacture your
tiny house with cheap timber, but we use only the best KD C24, and it is unwise
to get KD which means Kiln Dried timber wet, its KD because it must last
minimum 100 years+ and C24 is a visual grade, that means its quality through
and through.
So, you have learned a lot in this blog about what a tiny house should be
manufactured from, only really, as you want it to last a long time and to be
very energy efficient.
BUT THEY COST!!!!!!
Twinskin Flat Packed Log Cabins are perfect for that extra-insulated building
in the garden, easy to get into the garden, and easy to assemble, and our
windows and doors are not some ghastly PVC or awful cheap put together in a
hurry affair , ours are superb quality manufactured from Joinery glue, which
means no cold bridging, 28mm glass, and all German hardware; they are simply
the best in the industry as a standard window, most companies would charge you £1000 a double door and 700 for a double window if you wanted them manufactured
As a matter of note, I designed the twin skin system and have
the first ever 44mm x 44mm with a 50mm gap in the garden, it’s a 3m x 2m dog
kennel! And that’s why we built the first; obviously, there were no windows or doors, but
it has 2 rooms.
Lots of people make the mistake in thinking that a dog goes into
his or her kennel and likes the cold air running over him or her all night, they
don’t; a dog needs to go into a two-room kennel with a heated floor for winter, where
they can go around the corner and then in the back, and because of the base, walls and
roof are insulated, the flooring is made from non-bug carpeting, and
the whole pent roof lifts off, so cleaning is easy if you have a good friend that
will help you lift it off, as it is insulated and has gutters attached, etc, but
Your best friend (dog) is as snug as a bug in a rug!
The Twinskin system is perfect for going up two stories, and it’s easy to
adjust the amount of insulation (foil back) you add to the Twin Skin Log Cabin.
we can increase the thickness of the logs and insulation, depending on what you
need, where you are, and what kind of conditions you want the cabin to cohabitate in.
in. It’s amazing to think that you can have 44mm x 44mm or 70mm x 70mm; we can even do 90mm x 90mm, which would make the walls 280mm thick, There is nothing that would blow that over, we would rod itif it’s needed to the concert base, and that’s the beauty of our twin skins.
We can also manufacture shutters for the windows and doors if you put them in
a holiday park surroundings and wanted to leave them over the winter empty, and
unattended, you can shutter them up, or if you’re on the Greek Islands,
your customers want to go to sleep; just shut the shutters and the sun disappears.
our Twinskin Insulated Log Cabins are so versatile and cost-effective.
Sadly there are as always more log cabin companies going bust and today we are speaking about Ireland, and its a bad day for the end customers, as we have been told there are as many as 3 just in Kilkenny. One in Particular owing many 1000’s and 1000’s. Now this would not be a problem in any way at all if the customer had paid by credit card, but they as always paid by cash, which is the dumbest thing you can do ever. I know this makes nothing better saying this, but I tell all my resellers to take deposits by credit cards, and the feed back I get is, that in Ireland especially the customers do not want to pay by credit card. Which is madness, OK here is how the cabin Industry Work, Simple.
The Reseller, Say Leon, calls us here at the factory and asks us if we would sell to his company our cabins, we then give him some of our designs, and they then start selling. Once they have sold a cabin, then its for the reseller, Leon to send us over the deposit for the cabin, once that is done, we then send over the plans, this is for him to take to the customer, and for them to say yes, he then signs the plans off, and then the cabin goes into production, we manufacture and you the customer would get it from the reseller in 7/8 weeks later. Once it is loaded on the truck, and we sign it off and the driver has acknowledged it is on the truck, its then stops being our property, and it is then the resellers. We do not pay for the trucking.
Now the trucking company will ship the cabin with out deposit, if they have done business with the Irish company previously and have-had a good relationship with said company. But If the cabin is put into storage, after say 2/3 months pass by and the reseller has not paid his bills, does not answer calls, emails etc, he will receive 3 emails from the shipping company, these emails demand payment with in ex days, they must pay for this cabin,, if they do not, then the shipping company is in its rights to sell the cabin and collect its money owed. I have heard of shipping companies selling the cabin just to retrieve their owed money! This is completely legal, and the problem is the only person that can take the cabin from the storage is a Judge or the Reseller ( we do not have address for customers of the resellers or any idea who owns what) , but even then its very difficult, as the cabin belongs to the shipper plus Reseller, and the dispute is between them, and not the customer who initially put the deposit down for the said cabin, and because the reseller will not tell the shipping company the owners name, they can not offer it to the customer who bought it off the Reseller. and by that time the person/persons do not believe anyone and call a lawyer, and if you contact the owner, they will only deal with the reseller even if you tell them the facts. Its madness, and we make it plain and simple once the cabin leaves the Factory its not our concern, unless something is wrong with the cabin, which there never is thankfully! These kind of problems only occur thankfully once every five-six years, and or when the economy starts to take a tumble, then people get desperate and do stupid things. None of our dealers ever started off just being untrustworthy! It happened because of a reason, and we are always the last to hear about it. But I think we are the only compnay , unlike all the others to have sacked 99.9% of our dealers in 2020 because of this problem, as we had experienced this in 2007/2008.
We believe we are the best of the best in this up and down industry because we do care, and we do help, but sadly we are only the manufacturer, if you buy from us, its all in our pocket, if you buy from a reseller, once its on the truck and signed for, the company you bought the cabin from is responsible.
WHAT STOPS ALL THIS MESS IS PAYING WITH A DEBIT -CREDIT CARD!
WE ONLY ACCEPT PAYMENTS THROUGH CREDIT, DEBIT CARDS
Buying Direct, is safer, cheaper, and takes a lot less time, we always have trucks moving, , from A to B, and because all the buildings on the trucks are are ours, we can do a drop , drop, drop, if you buy from a reseller, then things get tricky, or it seems that way now, as there is less sales, and most websites ( resellers) just tell lies after lies.
Below is a massive amount of different designs I personally have done over the years, there are many more 1000.s but heres a few to let you in on our world.
Please watch this video, it has hundreds of designs, Hundreds.
So you are fed up, and want to live the easy life away from man, his politics and all his greed, you have bought some land, its in the middle of no where, and all you have is the ability to get cold water.
So you need a cabin that will really tell mother nature to F off and no matter what she throws at you, you have the ability to ride through storms, and from mother nature get all the power you need to live comfortably, and not worry to much about anything else but what your going to eat.
So lets start, water, a massive Drum that collects water, and then you need a well water filtration system, and a solar panel array, plus a Helix wind turbine. And thats about that. Trouble is, everything costs a lot of money.
So we have decided to come up very soon with an off grid cabin with everything included, that means insulated window shutters, a very very strong insulated roof, this you can fill with many different products, some people use Rockwall, or Cork , bubble wrap, BUBBLE WRAP IS SERIOUSLY CHEAP and you can use so much of it, and remember that bubble wrap is inert. So excellent for insulation solutions.
We sell Log Cabins all over the world, check out our trust pilot and you will see the people that purchase our cabins are from many different countries, this is because we do a lot of off grid cabins, or 2 bed twinskin log cabins and help the locals get off grid power, and live a nice safe life.

OFF GRID LIVING TWIN SKIN LOG CABINS FACTORY CABINS
OK…. there is quality and there is Factory Cabins which has the highest quality regard on design, build and price. In todays life, there are lots of people that really want the best of the best, and it is a forgone conclusion that if you manufacture with the best materials and very highly skilled craftsman the outcome will be a product of intense beauty, to with stand mother nature and the years in front. Many people buy a log cabins or a Timber Frame Buildings due to aesthetically pleasing pictures, and 3d videos companies show case. We are very different, we design amazing houses, but we build superb timber frame buildings, as a drawing is never as good as the real thing!
This is exceptional quality as you can see, and with out fault, and where can you buy this from, Well, sadly only us, why? because we manufacture houses to the highest standard on the planet, and our skilled craftsman are the best of the best. Which really does mean……. we are the best and thats that!
I will say this till I am blue in the face, but no matter what country you are in, if the builder wants cash, always say to yourself this one question, does your boss in Tesco’s, of in the bank , or where ever you work pay your salary in cash, no he does it through the bank, and you do the same, and my personal recommendation is
ALWAYS REMEMBER PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD
Sadly I have seen too many self employed cabin sellers, resellers, in England and Ireland steal, and I mean they have no intension at all in ever giving you the cabin, they just steal. So my advice, is to speak to a minimum of 10 of their previous customers before giving them a penny, then pay them by card. That way your safe.
Hi everyone, OK, just a quick Note, so when you ask you will not be upset by my answer.
You want plans, photos and you can not even give me your phone number, well you know what I am going to say. I have so many stupid people call me and tell me they are going to build a camping site, and please can they have our in depth technical drawings of our amazing high quality top of the line camping pods, or our insulated passive housing, what ever, and then they submit that to the council, council say yes because the quality is so exceptionally high, also with safety at the forefront , and the product we offer does not look like a load of chicken sheds on a hill side of natural beauty, and then once the council looks at us they say yes, and then the Holiday Camping site Entrepreneur buys cheap crap, and saves himself 1000’s and puts all your lives at risk.
So we now say no, and no its going to stay, so if your calling me for a plan, it will cost you now a few pennies and you must offer a land line and mobile number. otherwise buy the crap from someone else.
Heres an example of a company that lies and cheats.
This joke of a company do not have my permission to sell my cabins, or use my images, but, Skinner Sheds are a law to themselves. but check out their pricing and they want to sell you a second hand cabin for £2000 more than a new one from us.
Skinners, again stealing our drawings, art work, design, and then over pricing you by ££££££££££££££££££ and its an ex display model! 11.879.00 for a second hand building. Wow, and his windows and doors are shocking, plus ex display means, shrinkage, water damage and stains. all equals, Rubbish for that price.
Yep, this is ours, ours alone, Skinners stole the art work as I said, and he is trying to steal from you £2000 plus with his price, however our cabin to you will have will have amazing windows and doors, his are sadly shed quality, his customer service is like talking to HSBC, and to top it off, his timber is Baltic, he purchases his cabins from a very good high volume mill, but it is a bulk mill, nothing fancy, nothing to write home about. The owner , cool dude, and he makes lots and lots of cabins, who he sells to everyone. Everywhere.
I hate putting up customers reviews, but f… it i was told by my other half to start letting people read what i get sent, i ask for reviews so here is one…
Hi Kevin, just wanted to share with you a few thoughts I have concerning your cabins and the one I bought from you.
Firstly, Wow, it’s an amazing Cabin, and the windows and doors, top notch, secondly the delivery was on time and actually I got back to work, so you were right about just a morning off, Also Kevin I want to say, your cabin was a joy to put together, and my family, yep the wife is now doing something in their in the morning with her mat and laptop, so all in all , amazing, your prices are high, but I will gladly tell anyone about the quality, I did not want cheap and nasty, which is why I did as you said and looked around, and all I found on display in the Sussex and Kent area were log cabins absolutely not worthy of their price tag, in fact I would say most were over priced by £2000 and more judging by what your specification is against theirs.
One company in Kent, his windows were the same as the guy selling in East Sussex, and yes you were right same both were buying from the same shoddy manufacturer, and yes you were right, the timber was Baltic pine, and yes you were right the windows and doors poorly manufactured. And yes, yours are the best, and if anyone is reading this Kevin Langham does manufacture and give amazing customer service and also calls you 2 months afterwards and asks how the build is faring up and how are things going, never have I had that kind of customer service, and he really does in his cocky care way, f this and b that, care about his customers, and actually I think cabins more, he asks for photos and tells where problems will occur and just does it right. He’s an honest hard-working good guy! Best Regards .Tim
When I first began telling people about log cabins and the benefits, prices and quality, which was so many years back, oh! 2001, when Dunster House, or people like Waltons and so many of the companies that joined the band wagon, sadly though most for the profit, and hardly any for manufacturing quality. This maybe because 75% of the companies that start selling log cabins really do not see a future in the log cabin industry, they just see, here this year, gone, next, and keep the vat, steal customers deposits and as many as possible and never offer credit card facilities.
If you want to purchase a Log Cabin, and you live in Southern or Northern Ireland, God Help you, one minute your dealer is the gospel speaking saint who knows everything about log cabins, and the next they have disappeared.
What’s super sad, is that you give someone your Company Brand to use because it is the best of the best brand for these particular items, and comes along ( some awful lying tinker) and they have just ran off with loads of cash, you call the Police and no one answers, and customers are looking at us for help, which we want to do, but what can we do if they do not want to pay deposits with credit cards. Time to wake up!
Visa, Master Card, pull them out, ask for a higher insurance base on them, and pay all your deposits that way! Start being smart! Better to pay £100 extra a years and be safe than pay someone through the bank and loose the lot!
Section 75 is an important UK consumer protection law made in the 1970s that means your credit provider must take the same responsibility as the retailer if things go wrong with a purchase. Yet, it doesn’t work on all purchases – just those costing a certain amount:
Pay for something on a credit card £100+ and up to £30,000 and the provider’s equally liable if something goes wrong.
This isn’t the credit provider being nice. It’s a legal protection put in place so that you’re never in the position of paying off debt for something you didn’t receive or wasn’t as it should’ve been. Whether it’s a flight, kitchen, computer or anything else, pay on a credit card, store card or with store instalment credit, and the credit provider’s responsible too.
Imagine it has taken us 20 years to come from obscurity to the number one in design and manufacturing, you design an iconic garden buildings, and show the industry how to insulated a garden log cabin offices, twinskin it etc, and the tinker runs away.
So we are looking awful, and so is your bank balance, not if though you pay your deposit with a credit card.
Then this smiling face comes alone, asks to sell your brand and ( boom) they after 6 months start doing tricky stuff, lying, and not answering the phone, and sending emails to people just lying and lying, , and then, a customer calls and he says he gave money , deposit to the company and he can not get hold of them. what can we say, but call the police. Its theft, and is not a civil matter.
I have said this next part so many times, and i will say it time and time and time again.
PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD, YOU ARE INSURED WITH A CREDIT CARD, USE A CREDIT CARD, AND ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIVE IN IRELAND. PAY DEPOSITS WITH A CREDIT CARD.
So what happens then, you try and figure out whos who, who can you trust with your Brand, and who can you trust with customers money, and that is truly the hard one.
So we decided 2 years ago only dealers that took payments with credit cards, would sell our cabins, but??? in Ireland, its a problem, the customer does not want to pay with cards, he thinks paying through the bank is safe, well!! Hello everyone , its not, PayPal is safe, GooglePay is safe, Visa is safe, Mastercard is safe, Stripe, etc.
Why do you think high street banks are the best, simple, High Street Banks have hoodwinked you from day one, they are greedy bastards, useless at what they do, make you pay fortunes forever in payback loans and they trash talk everyone who is even better. Remember this when their is a problem, the banks never help, they will take your house from you in a blink, and if you need help they are normally the first to say NO! SEB swedish bank Amazing, Revolut Amazing, and I am sure there are many more smallish banks, but not High Street Banks.
We do not have any cabin dealers at all in Scotland, we sell Direct, so if you are looking for a riveting deal, would like to speak to a few of our customers who have bought direct, then please do not hesitate to give us a call.
OK lets firstly look at the pricing aspect of log cabins in the UK, Skinners sheds, or Dunster House or whoever, and there are many who ever’s, their pricing, its changed, and all of them are up 60% but have they added anything of value more to the cabins, the answer to that is no, now sadly the British Public, and I am one of them, think that if it’s too cheap, then its cheap, and if its too high priced, then i can not afford it, but if its middle ground I am going to get something half decent In some industries of sale, that might be true, but in the Log Cabin industry that is not the case even slightly, most cabins from nearly 99,9% of dealers in the UK are the same, baltic pine and super expensive, actually if truth was to be known they are taking the piss out of you and smiling all the way to the bank. So let’s dissect a cabin, what have you got that is worth 1000’s and 1000’s of pounds. Customer service, is as always, in most companies , YUK!
Let’s take this company that are using our images without our consent.
Original pic comes from us, skinners sadly have no skilled staff or vision and must always steal from others what they can not pay for , or design, themselves. Its quite funny actually as this company was once the leading light in the cabin industry, we supplied them for the whole of the south east, then sadly they went to the dark side, and bought crap cheap mass produced cabins and tried and still try and sell them off as ours. Their sales staff lie and say its their design, lol… their pics, etc, and then they ask you for money. (really)… https://www.factorycabins.co.uk/product/log-cabins-oxford-6-5-x-3-5m-df32/ this is the original…..
Oh, and by the way. skinners do not offer windows and doors of any quality, the timber is baltic pine, and on a scale of 1 to 10 they come in at a 3.
This is our unique Log Cabin style,
If you take a close look, you will notice that our cabins against Skinners, Johnsons, Dunster, Quick Garden, Tuin, Waltons and 100% Lugarde are 100% better. Firstly we provide doors and windows that none of these companies mentioned, would ever offer you, if they did their pricing would be through the roof, plus they would need new CNC machines, Blades, skilled workman and Joinery Timber and most importantly have the want to offer better, and not just manufacture Bulk.
Ex works means we help with everything, and you buy direct from Factory!
So why pick us, well, simple, our prices are very very fair considering the quality your getting, Russian Northern Scots Pine, no baltic quick grown lumber in our cabins, we are manufacturing long lasting cabins of quality and distinction, not Ikea furniture.
Yes we would all like to own my designed Clock House, it is beautiful and yes we would all like one in the garden, it has a £5000 Britment Plastic Tiled roof and our new Deluxe, now standard, windows and doors .https://www.google.com/search?q=log+cabins&sxsrf=AOaemvL-1txHKWIFgXnrNuHoG6UCS20xlA:1634666013886&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiF1dW4hdfzAhU5QkEAHRc1DgcQ_AUoAnoECAIQBA&biw=2540&bih=1266&dpr=1 If you follow this link it will show you a google search on UK Log Cabins, you can compare like for like, and nothing, and i mean nothing comes close to OUR quality, our quality, and the main reason is simple, we care, we really, really do, and the others care about ONLY MONEY! Yes we are a business, however I am glad to see that the public understand quality, and we are that, and price is not everything. We are neither high or low, the cost of our cabins and our work are what they are supposed to be.
Sanctuary, that’s what people come to us for, they want peace and quiet, and a room in the garden to get out their Ipad, or Notebook, or just a kindle and read and Chill.and they want it to be part of their lives for years and years, and they want to feel safe, and that mother nature stays out and the warmth stays in, we offer this, in quality, and at a great price. Next, which is really very important, our windows and doors are manufactured from high quality joinery timber, with a moisture content of nearly (2%) they can not be left outside until treated. Sadly mother nature would, hurt them, so it is advised to stain them immediately. Or your fitter does.
This Beautiful little cabin has a shed on the back of it. Would like to give a massive shout out to Lee for his fitting abilities, and love the green carpet! lol.
This beast, Twin 70mm x70mm with a 100 gap, was built by leon, and as always did an amazing job.
If you are looking for quality, then, please give us a shout.
Please Call us and speak to a member of staff that actually understands cabins, pods, timber frame buildings and so very much more. +44 0208 133 5164
Seriously check out this cabin, really check it out, it’s just simply amazing, and it is actually the best of the best to be offered in this cut throat market, most mills will lie and lie, and when you get the product it’s simply awful. But how are you to know any better, simple, look at my REAL photos, the only touch ups is to my belly in some of the photos, But seriously check out the windows and doors, the quality of the timber, the cut, the finish, the presence, the cabin is beautiful.
As soon as I add quality german hinges to my cabins, sadly there are companies that have already copied my hinge design and added black similar chinese very cheap hinges to try and fool you, you can not mistake ours with this rubbish, they forgot to make the windows thicker, they forgot to add a 5 point locking system on their doors and windows and they also forgot to remove the plastic from his windows sills, as we all love plastic , we use quality aluminum to the windows and doors, and if you notice the windows ( opening ones have 2) they also forgot to make the windows and doors from joinery timber, and lastly .
Plus they forgot to add German quality handles, and if you think the first and last part of the cabin you touch is the door handle, it’s important that every part of the cabin is quality.
Black looks awful, cheap and apart from that, the timber used on this cabin is Baltic Pine as it does not have a huge amount of red pigment.
OK thats a look at the low end of the market.
A Factory Cabins LTD High Quality Building.
Welcome to the top end, where the cabins are built to last, they look amazing, and we always leave the site in immaculate condition.
For many years logcabins have been manufactured from just single plank natural fibered timber, (we now have quality laminated timber ) and as we all know timber tends to do its own thing once its machined! Firstly there is the drying process of the timber logs, then the cutting/machining of the timber, and which machine is used, also are the blades sharp, and is the operator skilled, This then determines if the timber is fit for purpose to be or is it fire wood! If the timber is cut badly, and the machinist did not follow the grain on cutting your logs for your logcabin , the timber will be twisted, or if the doors of the kiln were opened too quickly! Actually there are so many reasons why timber can twist, so the cheap manufacturers want to hide this problem from the public. So how do they hide from you twisted logs in your cabin walls? Optical illusions, what you thought was decorative is in fact a way to conceal twisted logs, so! they cut the end of the log, which then gives you zero focus point on the wall log end( the notched area) . Sadly a lot of the manufactures in the UK are using local Pine/Spruce from the local surrounding forests, the timber is very young, which will lead to twisting.Thats one reason why they are cheap! Profit comes before Quality!
European Pine/Spruce is a lot older, tougher tighter grained timber! European Pine and Spruce is grown in harsher climats that lead to a far more dense timber Do not settle for less!
All our Log Cabins have a full end logs, we have always made our log cabins with untampered Log ends, as we believe in Quality, not Quantity!
We always check our logs, floor, roof boards plus our windows and doors moisture content on all our cabins, making sure every Log cabin is as best as it can be!
Beware of cheap, as cheap = Problems!
Logcabins .lv is with out doubt becoming the peoples choice.
Here is a new design hot from the drawing board, our new and exciting timber frame laminated garage from logcabinslv.co.uk. This amazing garage is with out doubt the best of the best in size, strength and design.
